Well, I'm back after my two-day vacation, and it gave me time to think of one piece of information I forgot, time. More specifically, the schedules of the people of Janus Island. The biggest problem that confronted me was sleep. When are the Janas asleep, When are the Geminin asleep, how does a day work, ect.?Here are the answers, I hope.
A day will be, for simplicities sake, 24 hours, split into twelve hours of light, ten hours of dark, two hours of dawn/dusk. For simplicity, it will work like this: dawn will start at 6A, day is 7A-7P, 7P is dusk, then 8P-6P is night. The one exception is that 1:00AM is midnight, because it is the middle of the night time.
Now, sleeping. There are several different ways in which the people split their time. The majority split the day into two parts, the Geminin take the 'morning' time (1:00am-1:00pm), the Janas take the 'evening' (1:00pm-1:00am). Each is awake for twelve hours and asleep for twelve hours. A few people spilt it into 3 parts, one takes 8, the other 16. It would go something like Gem-8, Jan-8, Gem-8. The next day, they would switch. Some do six hour periods, going G-J-G-J, and a few, rare job types will split it into four hour periods, Geminin starting the day at 1:00AM. Also, some, like rogue and rangers in particular, just get sleep whenever they get a chance, since they can't just sleep somewhere that would be dangerous. And some, naturally, are just sparatic in their sleep, 4 hours here, 6 there, 15 there. There are lots of ways that the people split up their days, but in general, most people split it into two 12-hour periods as listed above.
If someone is awake more than 12 hours at a time, they start to become tired.
Ok, I think that covers it. Oh, that's right. At this time, it is about 6PM. Ok, NOW I think that covers it. If you have any questions, as always, ask away, because I'm sure there are other things I forgot.
