CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Job (j): Sailor
Description (j): 5'8", wavy brown hair (usually kept in a loose ponytail), brown eyes. She usually doesn't wear dresses, being a sailor. Her usual attire is regular sailor clothes; breeches, baggy canvas shirt, bandana, sturdy brown boots. Gold hoop earrings for a pirate-y touch.
Personality (j): Hotheaded and stubborn. Loves her own way and being right. Adventurous. Loves animals. She can be underhanded when needbe (for a good cause) but prefers the up-and-up. She can climb like a moneky up the riggings.
Special talents: Can climb like a monkey. Can come up with a sharp retort in the blink of an eye.
History (j): Jarvis is an only child. Her father died when his soulkin did. Her mother she supports on her small sailor income.
Best Feature (j): She's quick-thinking and witty.
Worst Feature (j): Her tongue can be too sharp and sarcastic and she takes too many chances.

Personality (g): A jokester. Strangely he can be darker than his soulkin. At least when it comes to illegal things. He has killed a man in self-defense.
Special Talents (g): Can juggle
History (g): Exactly the same as Jarvis's. His father (Jarvis's father's soulkin) died from a snakebite. He now supports his mother.
Best Feature (g): His sense of humor probably
Worst Feature (g): He will do anything at all for his mother.

I am sorry it took me so long to get back here...this looks very...interesting, it breaks the mold, so I want to take a stab at it. Do you have any stock characters left?

OK, he's the working plot line for the first chapter. Note, this is sketchy and subject to change, and I really don't care how we get from point A to point B. I'll leave that to you all. Anyhow, the plot line:
Aqy(A.), Lana(L.) and Brok(B.) will go into the backroom after greetings. At some point, B. tells everyone about the legend and the prophecy(Don't worry, PD you'll have it in plenty of time.). After some fuss from A., B. and L. talk him in to going on the quest to open the way through the great mountain. During all this, Kao(K.) will be discovered or reveal himself and say he wants to help too. From there, they will all head to the docks to pick up some supplies for the journey, which is where Jarvis(J.) will join in. As far as the Geminin are concerned, they will soon find that even though they cannot see A., they too will be forced to take an active part in the journey. Any original characters can work their own way in somehow.
That's the basic plot line. The technical details as to why, how, and when will come as we go.
Also, Locket, those will do fine. As far as special talents, this can be anything, like feels equally comfortable on land as on sea, or can feel the winds to predict the weather, or even something simple, like "can juggle". This doesn't have to be some "Oo, wow look what I can do", just something that sets them apart from other people. In this respect, everyone has a special talent.

Ok, One at a time. First locket. This is a very tricky subject that I tried to address multiple times. If you have read those and still do not understand, then let me know. Otherwise, I think everything can be found in those previous posts, either here in the OOC or in the main thread itself.
Next, Squigui, first, the soulkin can see Aqy. What gave you the impression that they could not?
Second, I thought about this issue, but I would say no for two reasons. First, not everyone has a soulkin of the same gender(it sounds weird to us, but I would think that they would not think much of it. They essentially feel that they and there soulkin are one.). This obviously would make that issue a little more difficult. Also, some people never get married while their soulkin do. This also would make things a little more difficult. However, in cases where for example, a man and his male soulkin fall in love with a girl and her female soulkin, it is very likely that the two pairs will marry. And there are naturally a few other combinations you could come up with that would work(or maybe just one other, I don't feel like actually figuring out how many combos there are). Secondly, and more simply, I see no need for such a thing to happen. Actually, I would think it rarer that a person and his soulkin would have even one of the same parent. To have both would be an extremely rare thing. No, it is far more common for a person and his soulkin to have dompletely different parents. But, I do not think I can say that it would be impossible.

3)They can communicate to each other through their thoughts.
That is about as basic as you need to understand. The co-pilot analogy is really the best I can think of. They do not really do anything but help advise the pilot, who makes the decisions on flying the plane. Yet the co-pilot has all the information that the pilot does. Does this help everyone?
