Perhaps Umar is being sincere and actually believes Osama's version of Islam is a corruption of his own. However if that's the case, then Umar isn't following the religion of Mohammad because if Mo were here today, according to his own actions and sayings, he'd be far more pleased with Osama's practices than Umar's.

But, I have been thinking... my kids were watching Tiny Toons last night, and I was wondering, awitch, why you chose Plucky as your Avatar.

When I first joined I used various characters from cartoons and video games. At first I was going to standardize on Daffy Duck because he's my favorite but Montalban was already using Daffy and I didn't think I could find enough variety of his image to change it weekly. So I went with Plucky.

I thought he was the funniest, most expressive and most versatile character on the show. He could be a super hero as BatDuck or the Toxic Revenger in one episode and then cheat on a test and be an outright letch in another.

Why do you think people enter threads to say that they're not interested in discussing the thread?

Why do you think people are afraid to discuss Islam on it's own merits?

One of my proofs of Chrisitanity is the lengths people go to turn these threads into attacks on Christianity. Something must be driving them to do so.

People are afraid to discuss islam because they know it'll take a negative spin and eventually the discussion gets pulled off the site. Since there is nothing positive to say about islam, it is impossible to discuss islam without people getting offended.
