"However, you are correct. Messianic Jews are Christians."

So, what is the difference between a Messianic Jew and a Messianic Muslim??

I've explained this. Please read and understand:

Being a Jew is more than practicing Judaism. One is either born a Jew or converts to become a Jew. This cannot be undone. If a Jew falls away from Judaism, or practices another religion, they are still a Jew.

Being a Muslim does not work that way. One is a Muslim due to practicing Islam. If one stops doing that, they cease to be a Muslim.

I'm curious about this statement. If one converts to Judaism (no Jewish family roots) and then leaves Judaism, are they still a Jew?

According to Orthodox belief, yes. At the moment of conversion one is considered to be the son or daughter of Abraham and Sarah. They are bound to the covenant and if they do not practice it, they will be seen as a non-observant Jew.

Thanks. Learned something new today. :)

"You seem to be mistaken about these things and are not listening to someone who is educated in the matters."

Talk about irony....I was about to say the same thing....

I see you have no interest in understanding how being a Jew is in reality nor how being a Muslim is in reality.

Let me have a go:

Judaism can in many ways be considered a culture as well as a religion. Messianic Judaism is essentially the Christian beliefs plus the Jewish customs and culture. While it has Judaism in the name, it is generally considered to be part of Christianity (there is disagreement on this, however).

Islam, however, does not work the same way. It directly contradicts the main principles of Christianity. While it is possible to incorporate elements of both religions into your beliefs, it is not possible to follow both religions simultaneously.
