Fair enough. Sounds to me like you seem to think that all the evolution "from kinds" seems to have occurred before Noah's Flood, then. Haven't heard that before.
Both. I would think adapting was needed after the flood as well.
What about the earth was different between Creation and the Flood that allowed for such extensive sedimentary successions to be deposited? Why so much death in that small amount of time?
Death entered the world through the sin of Adam. That is why so much death. The difference in the earth in the future when heaven comes and now is very great. Sun not decaying away, people living forever, trees with 12 kinds of fruit growing on the same tree. Plant rate growth so fast, that a different fruit grows each month of the year on the one tree! A different light around, so that those in His city need no light of the sun. A whole new universe, with this one passing away.
My point is that maybe this new universe was here in the past, in a way. We had rapid plant growth, because trees were made 3 days before we needed to eat them, and the garden was planted. WE had Adm living forever, (if he had not disobeyed) -this is impossible in the present world. To make a long story short, a universe where the spiritual was included, and part of matter. This made everything diferent. No universal decay of matter, rapid evolution, a different light, and speed, etc etc etc etc. A time came 100 years after the flood that God seperated the spiritual, we are left in a temporary universe, that is physical only. One day, when the new heavens appear, and these ones pass away as the bible says -it will again be merged! That's how.
