If a Christian is in bed with a prostitute committing adultery
This person is not a Christian. They are not following Christ. They will be damned.
Really? Where does it say that is God and Jesus' purpose?

So if a church is doing the same thing figuratively .. as according to the prophets .. then would the same judgment would you mete?
God will separate the wheat from the tares on judgment day. There will be many who thought that they were saved but were not true Christians.
and those who judge with mercy .. will be judged with mercy
and those who judge without mercy .. will be judged without mercy
mercy triumphs over judgment .
James wrote that .
1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
I came across this question while surfing the web on the topic of OSAS and it intrigues me :
"If a Christian is in bed with a prostitute committing adultery, and during the very act of intercourse a stray bullet from the gun of a drive-by shooter strikes him in the head and kills him instantly, will he go to heaven or hell?"
I was wondering what you guys thought .![]()
You're missing the whole point of the law of liberty and the parable of the unmerciful debtor .. and the parable of the prodigal son
I'm pretty sure the prostitute will be saved...
All that being said I do believe in OSAS for those who are truly the elect.
No, I'm not. If they repent of their sin they can be saved. The prodigal son repented.
I believe in OSAS for those who are truly the elect:
John 10:27-29
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
You really want to be judged according to the way you are judging others .. don't you?
Adulterers will not inherit the kingdom of God. That is God's word. Go ahead and judge me by it I am not an adulterer.
Now you're making no sense.
You are setting yourself up as Judge . which is a worse sin than Adultery
you are taking God's place.
I am not setting myself up as Judge. I am simply quoting scripture:
1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
But you're still judging . if you really want that judgment same measured back to you . keep talking. because a person who breaks even one point of the law you are citing .. is guilty of all .
you're just not qualified to judge . that's all .
