  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

John 1:1-3

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
That doesn't show omnipotence...it just says God was the creator of everything.

These passages should collectively exhibit what you ask in your question and should not be read in isolation; for ex., Psalms 103 & 104 read consecutively should have the aspects you seek. You may also want to read 1 Corinthins 15 alongside 1 Corinthians 13 for ex. Also Psalm 147.

Can a Christian give me the Biblical verses that support the omnipotence, omnibenevolence, omniscience of God?
OMNIPOTENCE = Genesis 18:14; Job 42:2; Isaiah 26:4; Matthew 19:26; Revelation 19:6

OMNIBENEVOLENCE = Luke 6:35

OMNISCIENCE = John 16:30; 1 John 3:20

No. The bible doesn't talk in those sorts of terms. They can be useful shorthands providing one doesn't take the them too seriously.

MY FRIEND,

Check out Genesis 1:1 through Revelations 22:21 inclusive. Should answer your question. If not--repeat.

As one who studies the Holy Bible, there are plenty of verses that allude and imply it.

Though, I would say the omni's are theological terms and not found in the Bible.

Revelation 19:6 said:
And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
