Love everything listed here so far Except..the beach boys & never heard Surfin Bird...but to say I am a Stones Fan is a bit of an understatement. I also came round in 2010 to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers via Stevie Nicks whom I also love.

My wife and I do praise and worship. This weekend, we'll be doing "from me to you", which lyrically is a perfect worship song. :)

Check out Psalmplace for independent Messianic music.

What does this have anything to do with what my thread is about?

There are several earlier oldies threads with well over 1000 posts.

We Boomers grew up with songs of the 60s/70s. Here's a great tune from one of my all-time favorites. Roy lacked the charisma of Elvis, but he co-wrote most of his songs, and had a truly remarkable voice. Listen to how he can go, without strain, from baritone to falsetto.
