I'm at 14 ... not QUITE older than dirt. But the truth is, I think I remember a few more but just forgetting the circumstance at moment. Us older folks do that sometimes. ;)

Oh dear - I'm really giving my age away - before the foil caps, glass bottles here had cardboard disks in them and the birds used to have a great time pecking at them and driving them into the bottles so they could get at the milk :(

I got 16. I don't recall Packards, but my Dad had a '46 Dodge wrecker and a '51 Chevy ¾-ton pickup; and the guy who lived just across the street had a '55 Buick. :)
We had milk delivered to the house for a time when I was a kid, but the milk came in regular plastic jugs like you see now.
I remember Butch Wax, but I always used Brylcreem.....didn't even use that after about the 4th grade.
Howdy Doody, letter phone prefixes ("Opahratah----gimme Evergreen, tree tree, tree tree!") and newsreels were just a tad before my time.

I got them all. I can still remember my phone number being JAckson 0949. Where I live, we only used the first two letters, but I know why my prefix was Jackson. My local phone company switch was on Jackson Street.

JFTR: I am 64

All 22! Went into an antique shop recently with my grandkids and warned them that I was older than some of the things we would see. Sure enough, there was an RCA 45 rpm record player just like the one I had. My grandkids wanted to know what it was for.

We still have a bunch of old 78's and the grammaphone player. You have to replace the stainless steel needle each time you play a record. Spring has broken for the 2nd time though, so I might have to see if I can work in some sort of motor drive as it is nearly impossible to get replacements.

10. Not too bad. :)

Also how about:

- Bottle caps candy
- Transistor radios
- bikes with "banana seats"
- pop tops (pull tabs on soda cans)
- silk print shirts
- bell-bottom jeans
- platform shoes
- hot wheels
- vans with shag carpeting EVERYWHERE
- commercials. back then there were no commercials for lawyers or car insurance; it was almost all household products, fast food, and clothes
