  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I have had a fascination with old cameras for a while and have kept an eye out for one at a good price. I've not had good luck. Today i found an old canon (circa 1976) AT-1 35 mm camera. It still works and seems to be in good condition. The only thing i'm concerned about is finding the correct batteries to use. I was talking with a guy in the store and he said that type was his first camera and he still uses his and it takes great pictures. I'm really excited. Does anyone use one of these or something similar?

My first camera was a new '75 Minolta. It had a light meter, but everything had to be set manually. It took very nice pictures, but that was due to the Rokor 50mm lens I bought with it. I still have the lens. I should get it modified to fit my Nikon before the craftsmen who do that sort of thing, don't anymore.
