CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

As a matter of fact, I do! I feel like socks are mini-coats for your footsies and I don't like to wear coats. Especially like in the warmer months, I'm not happy if I'm not in sandals. My feet need to breeeeeeeeeeeeathe!

I don't have a solid plan yet... I know my parents are coming to visit me on halloween on their way to FL (they drive from OH to FL every year and stay at each place for bout half the year, so they're using me as a halfway point now). I will probably end up in FL for thanksgiving... I might try to go to OH to spend at least part of Hannukah with my family up there. I'm not sure though, it's really hard to get our schedules together in my family. And I know my best friend will want me to come to his family for Christmas but I don't know that I'll be able to do that either. Really, it's just like anything else in my life, I'm just kind of wingin it!

My parents are in Estero, by Fort Myers. My sis lives in FL year round and she's by Ft. Lauderdale
