Well there is a chance for everything. There is a chance that the Matrix was all real. However I don't find that a good fundamental thought for a faith. Because if that is true, then we are forced back to personal opinions.

Because one can easily pick and choose pieces of scripture and say "no this was a man's word" and say "this is Gods word" and another could say the opposite.

I also belive God would arise and defend his word.

How does Jesus think? Well, He and the Bible are the same (John 1:1). His thoughts are recorded in the Bible. Jesus never intended for us to get saved, then continue to think the same way we did when we were in the world. We have to think like He thinks now. As much as it upsets me to say the things I've said, I'm only telling you because I love you. Another note. Any person who helps to send you to hell was no friend at all. I'm trying to help usher you into Heaven. Renew your mind, and stop thinking the way you have been. Think like God thinks.

Slavery is bad according to societal ethics, though. Homosexuality is only bad according to Christian ethics. So, yes, your previous post was condemning non-Christian homosexuals. I've tried to get rid of my crushes on women but I can't. Plus, I enjoy them. They're part of who I am. Why try to make me into someone who I'm not? Do you seriously think that that's what God wants, is for us to live our lives as a lie?

Here is the problem with that theory. Christians are called to seperate themselves from the world. In other words we don't hold society's ethics above the bible.

Secondly you also have to ask "Which society". Is homosexuality immoral in Iran. You bet, I think they kill you for that. Which is why Iran doesn't have any gay people, because they kill them.

No its not wrong to question your faith. Everyone does.

In the end we walk by faith and not by sight. I don't think its a blind faith but we must be willing to accept it if it is blind.
