Ok, I'll admit it.

I need glasses. :(

I've been able to go 40+ years without needing these things, I got lucky, all my siblings needed glasses before they got out of elementary school. I don't like having to use em. I'm not used to em, and I hate that when I take em off after reading every thing else is blurry (is that normal???)

I'm having the same issues, PGP. I feel like I need them and bought some 1.50 reading glasses. They do help but like you said my vision is blurry when I remove them and takes a while to readjust.

I can totally relate, PGP! Never had to wear glasses until now, and even though they're just for reading, I can't stand it. It was suggested to me to go to the eye doctor and get a pair of prescription reading glasses to avoid the eye strain after removing them.

To me, that would be admitting defeat :p so I have yet to do it!

It is so ironic I am 46, and last week I broke down and went to a doc to get a prescription. I hope they are just efficient reading Glasses for the small print on receipts, telephone numbers especially. I also played alot of contact sports.
The injuries back then seem to have hauntd me now, like stiffness getting up. I think we just gotta face it, we are actually crossing from normal into dare I say a little elderly.

Good luck, Good Bless

Yeah, I've been noticing the stiffness. It's so sad!!! I so much still feel like a teen, but my body seems to want to remind me that physically I'm not there anymore. :sigh:
