Hello all,
I live on the west side of Cleveland after having moved from Detroit 10 months ago. I lived in Detroit for 5 years. Before that, i lived in Boston, Massachusetts for 3 years and Nashville, TN for 7 years prior to Boston. I also lived in Philadelphia, PA for a year in '93-'94.
I was actually born and raised in Akron, but left after high school to attend college and medical school. I'm just now returning to the area after some 16 years.

that blows. we had two snow days this year, which is pretty amazing. im hoping for one tomorrow. wishful thinking, i know.

And what's this I hear about you Clevelanders wanting to live anyplace else in Ohio but there? Wow. My grandparents used to live in Chardon, and I thought that whole area east of Cleveland was rather pretty. At least you guys have some beaches up there. And in the winter, I wish I got as much snow as you all do.
But I will admit, Southern Ohio is pretty too.

yeah, we have beaches to the lovely and oh so clean lake Erie. lol, just messing around. There are some pretty places around cleveland area. but for the most part, compared to the rest of Ohio, it is ugly

Actually, lake Erie is very clean now. About 30 years ago it was a disaster, but is now very clean. And there are some pretty areas around Cleveland but Cleveland itself is very ugly. Unless of course you like concrete and smoke stacks and pollution, etc.DMB233 said:

yeah, i know. Places like Bayvillage, and along Lake road is really pretty. but I'm not much of a city girl. Places out east, as in around Warren or Hiram Ohio are really pretty. places to take drives around, just to drive, you know what I mean?

yeah. I like driving through the metroparks, when I have time. Its where I first learned how to drive a stickshift. auhh...the bumpyyy memories......
