You really need to define what you mean by intelligence... eg I could look at the multiple types of intelligences as defined by Howard Gardiner.
Accademically in high school, my boyfriend did better than me. But according to our grades at uni I do better than him. But thats not comparable at all, because he studies much harder stuff than me ie engineering vs teaching. sciences are hard.much harder than the stuff i do. but then it also tests a different type of intelligence, because alot of his stuff is mathematical and spacial awareness stuff, when mine is based more on how well i can formulate creative ideas.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that we are inteligent in different ways.
I need someone who is able to stimulate my thinking, which he can do, so thats all that matters. But there is really no way to say who is smarter, its just not comparable.
