Obsessing over my anxiety

Now I have never heard of this one. I can say JUdgement day all day long and not get anxious But what does scare me is that maybe all the meds will poop out and I won't get any relief from any med. The benxo's no matter which one it is has failed. So I'm just facing this head on.

aw, dabro...don't worry about what might happen. focus on the present. live in the moment. it's easier said than done but it is possible....we will always struggle in this life. the important thing is to endure in Christ 'til the end...

On hearing this, Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.

If your "meds" do "poop out," you don't need them "need" them (as a child of the Living God). You just have to try to find peace in that...have faith in God and yourself in Christ.

Hi Dabro,
I kind of did that same thing for awhile. My obsession became, "what if I become hopelessly and incurably depressed for the rest of my life?" I had the same fears; "no medication will be able to help you, no therapy, no treatments of any kind, etc." For quite some time even the word "depression" or seeing commercials about depression and meds. would spike my anxiety horribly. In the end I had to treat this fear with exposure too, and it worked. So can you think of how you'd do exposure to this fear? Be creative.

Hugs and Prayers Dabro. I am to the point where my meds aren't helping too much either. We need to hang onto Jesus no matter what. God be with you always.
