Objective evidence of God

I would rather God display his love and compassion to the millions of children who die from a horrible suffering death each year and answer the millions of prayers he receives each day to help these children, than for him to show love towards to me.

God tried to make it that way in the Garden of Eden. No death, no suffering.
No question of God's existence as you could walk with and talk with God.

Yet man could not obey one simple commandment. God already knew this of course so set in motion a plan involving Jesus to weed out the good from the bad and will restore the world to the original state when it is time.

Death came into the world because of sin. You hate God because death came into the world because of sin? God warned Eve she would die. Just like you she would not listen.

I always thought Jesus's message was one of love and acceptance. For some reason, I thought we as Christians were supposed to show this in our dealings with others. I wonder how I misunderstood the message.

Statements like yours is one of the things that almost destroyed my faith. Fortunately I ran into people who were doing, as best they could, to live their lives according to the teachings of Christ.

Just out of curiosity, does this description include you or was it aimed at just one individual?

If it was aimed at an individual you might take a look inside yourself and reflect on what you see in relation to your statement.

What I have to say isn't aimed at any one individual. It lands on whoever it lands on. I know you would rather ignore the fact because I say it and I'm a man so it includes me. Yes. I'm capable of evil. God alone is good.

If I tell my kids not to do something KNOWING they are going to do it anyway, I have deliberately set them up to fail.

Yet it is out of love and the fear of God that I have to warn you. The anger of the Lord is burning red hot. I feel it inside when I see what's going on. You don't warn the wicked. You approve them. Out of love and acceptance you say. But it's not love to not warn them of the coming fire let alone approve them.
