Obama's First Six Months' Accomplishments

1. Offended the Queen of England .
2. Bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia .
3. Praised the Marxist Daniel Ortega.
4. Kissed Socialist Hugo Chavez on the cheek.
5. Endorsed the Socialist Evo Morales of Bolivia .
6. Sided with Hugo Chavez and Communist Fidel Castro against Honduras .
7. Announced we would meet with Iranians with no pre-conditions while they're building their nuclear weapons.
8. Gave away billions to AIG also without any pre-conditions.
9. Expanded the bailouts.
10. Insulted everyone who has ever loved a Special Olympian.
11. Doubled our national debt.
12. Announced the termination of our new missile defense system the day after North Korea launched an ICBM.
13. Released information on U.S. intelligence gathering despite urgings of his own CIA director and the prior four CIA directors.
14. Accepted without comment that five of his cabinet members cheated on their taxes and two other nominees withdrew after they couldn't take the heat.
15. Appointed a Homeland Security Chief who identified military veterans and abortion opponents as "dangers to the nation."
16. Ordered that the word "terrorism" no longer be used and instead refers to such acts as "man made disasters."
17. Circled the globe to publicly apologize for America 's world leadership.
18. Told the Mexican president that the violence in their country was because of us.
19. Politicized the census by moving it into the White House from the Department of Commerce.
20. Appointed as Attorney General the man who orchestrated the forced removal and expulsion to Cuba of a 9-year-old whose mother died trying to bring him to freedom in the United States .
21. Salutes as heroes three Navy SEALS who took down three terrorists who threatened one American life and the next day announces members of the Bush administration may stand trial for "torturing" three 9/11 terrorists by pouring water up their noses.
22. Low altitude photo shoot of Air Force One over New York City that frightened thousands of New Yorkers.
23. Sent his National Defense Advisor to Europe to assure them that the US will no longer treatIsrael in a special manner and they might be on their own with the Muslims.
24. Praised Jimmy Carter's trip to Gaza where he sided with terrorist Hamas against Israel .
25. Nationalized General Motors and Chrysler while turning shareholder control over to the unions and freezing out retired investors who owned their bonds. Committed unlimited taxpayer billions in the process.
26. Passed a huge energy tax in the House that will make American industry even less competitive while costing homeowners thousands per year.
27. Announced nationalized health care "reform" that will strip seniors of their Medicare, cut pay of physicians, increase taxes yet another $1 trillion, and put everyone on rationed care with government bureaucrats deciding who gets care and who doesn't.

Bloomberg: Daschle says, "Health care reform will not be pain free. Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them," while former Colorado Governor Dick Lamm says seniors have "a duty to die."

If this does not sufficiently raise your ire, just remember that the President, Senators and Congressmen have their own special gold plated health care plan which is guaranteed the remainder of their lives and they are not subject to this new law if they pass it.

Well, there's always the 2010 elections. And, of course, then there's 2012.

But if stupid Christian leaders keep telling people "waaah, stay home, McCain isn't conservative or religious enough"...

then guess what, everybody??? more of Obama is what we are going to keep getting.

I've made myself a pledge:

I will never listen to the Religious Right again after seeing the effects of their influence over America.

A list of people I am henceforth putting on ignore, since they are so religiously informed, but so politically ignorant:

James Dobson
Rush Limbaugh
Tim LaHaye
Pat Robertson
NRB
TBN
Ralph Reed
National Association of Evangelicals
and anyone trying to hand me one of those biased "voter guides"!!!!!!!

The only one of the lot that seems to have any understanding of politics and/or law is Jay Sekulow's A.C.L.J. !!

It's too bad I have to listen to Neal Boortz to get a decent common sense perspective.

A lot of these people were telling us not to vote for McCain as a protest, and what they ended up accomplishing was putting someone in the White House who has disrespect for many of the Christian values I believe in, and many of the traditions that have actually worked in the United States.

But the good thing is, maybe Christians will wake up one of these years, and see the folly of staying home out of protest.

Your vote really counts!!!! Too bad many did not have theirs counted because they were too lazy to vote against liberalism.

Christians, wean yourselves off the dependence on the American Religious Right and start thinking for yourselves!!!

I'm staying out of this discussion for sure. However I have to ask you QC, how do you see Rush Limbaugh being a member of the religious right?

Though he might not say "God" or "Jesus", he's basically 100 percent in line with the religious right's goals.

I listen to most of those listed - but I can think for myself - I did not stay home - I voted. No one should be so weak that they let someone else make up their mind for them - I want to be informed, not sticking my head in the sand, but I can sort out right from wrong without someone telling me how to vote.

All this excitement of Obama's accomplishments has happened in just 7 months - just think how exciting the next 3 years will be. If any of us can afford the gas for our bubble cars in 2012 - we can make him a one term president. Also 2010 - you can make a mark and send a message that we will not take it anymore.

The problem, Sharon, is that many people are not that independent minded as me and you.

They depend on what the Religious Right tells them.

They base their movie-going on Christian movie reviews instead of actually going to see the movie itself. They do everything on hearsay.

It's good to have reliable sources.

But God is ultimately our source. And he has given us brains. :D

He may have similar goals as they do but he disagrees with the religious right on how many of them should come about. For instance, He is against abortion but he is also against making abortion illegal. He has stated hundreds of times that instead of making laws to prohibit abortion we conservatives should be out there in the court of public opinion and changing peoples hearts and minds so they will not want to have an abortion.

Abortion is probably the single biggest political issue that the religious right has and he disagrees with them on it. Sorry but he is not 100% in line with them. ;)

Well, that's something new for me.

So many Christians listen to him, I didn't know he could be so libertarian.

Just because alot of christians tune into his show and listen to him doesn't make him part of the religious right.

Oh well, my motivation wasn't to stick up for Rush, I just thought it odd someone would label him as a member of the religious right.

I lost 100% respect for almost all conservative talk show hosts when there was a near revolt when McCain started winning the primaries. Just about every talk show I heard (I'm a long time conservative talk show junkie and I listen to a lot of them) the host vowed to either not to vote for McCain or not support him if he won the Republican nomination.

Never mind McCain HAS a conservative voting record!

Well, months later, not only were they all aboard the McCain train, they were in 100% support of him. A guy many of them blasted for over a decade!
