Rats - you beat me to it. I think he only had about 2 years as a congressman, right? Or did he even have that much experience?

The problem with experience is that if it is the WRONG kind of experience then the country has to suffer the consequences.

There are going to be a lot of charges and counter-charges between McCain - and the Republican slime machine - and Obama and the forces of Good before this is all over.

A lot of REALLY bad things are going to be said about Obama. I have yet to be impressed by the 'scandals' about Obama that have so far been circulated by the Republican slime machine - or the Two-headed Clinton slime machine, for that matter.

So - here are two sources of alleged fact that McCain has types of problems Obama never dreamed of committing himself in his darkest, most scary nightmares:

http://mccainiseman.wordpress.com/2008/02/25/mccains-history-of-abusing-the-public-trust/

And:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFhhvaIXA9A&feature=related

Before we can move forward to determine Sen. Obama's fitness to be POTUS, I want someone to assure me that all of these alleged facts about Sen. McCain are untrue, i.e., made up out of whole cloth. These charges, unlike those made against John Kerry in 2004, are alleged to be from eye witnesses to the events.

Someone needs to investigate these serious felonies that McCain is being charged with. I am appalled that any of them might be true.

Are they true?
Er... that's not right... it's not even wrong

In other words, completely unsourced rumor giving little or no detail doesn't need to be debunked. It can't be debunked either because there isn't even a definite enough charge to actually be debunked. Saying that he slept around with unknown women at unknown times in unknown places is meaningless.

NELSONVILLE, Ohio (AP) - campaign_minute Democrat Barack Obama says he's tired of questions about his religion. The Democratic presidential candidate told a town hall meeting Sunday in Nelsonvile, Ohio, in the state's rural southeast, that he is a devout Christian who prays to Jesus every night. He told audience members they would feel right at home at his church in Chicago.

I wouldn't feel "right at home" in a church which honors the Nation of Islam and gave Louis Farrakhan a life-time achievement award.

Been noticing Obama has made a point of denying what no one is seriously claiming--that he is a Muslim--while not mentioning at all what sort of Christianity his pastor and his church teach.

A transparent tactic.

Why should the poor guy have to defend himself constantly? I think its pathetic people are always trying to knock him down. Its not very Christian.
It's America, a strange land where religion still matters a great deal and politics regularly involves whispering campaigns and outright character assassination.

There's been an effort to associate Obama with Islam, rather than talking about his policies. It seems to have been quite successful too, many people, mostly Christians right-wingers now seem to suspect him of being a muslim. ^_^

Hey, but at least he isn't funded by George Soros, like your nominee is.

Obama does not believe in Jesus Christ. I heard him say this myself during an interview. I do not remember the details except that one statement, it stuck in my mind. If I were you I'd research this diligently.

I don't believe you.

I don't know if you're confused, or attempting to smear him on purpose (there's been a lot of that by the right, lately), but that is just something I do not believe, and goes against everything that Obama stands for.

Yes he is. I'd research that diligently as well. Apparently it's not well known? It's time to change that. Clarity is a good thing. Especially when it comes to voting for the president of the United States of America.

It was actually a joke. I don't know if he's funded by Soros, because I don't care. But, Voeglin does, and I would expect him to speak out against McCain, just like he does Democrats, for being funded by Soros.

Bet it won't happen though.

It doesn't matter to me if you believe me.

It's merely a statement and an invitation for us all to research candidates for the president of the United States of America.

goes against everything that Obama stands for

What does he stand for?

Thats typical in a presidential campain. And helps to
avoid real issues, if all you do is complain about a mis-conception.

This would be national news, or a national conspiracy to cover this up. (look at the Prince in Afganistan, it might happen short term, but not long.)

McCain is funded by MoveOn.org?

Unfortunately it's no joke. Obama is funded by Soros. Soros has connections that are quite invisible and quite powerful. Soros is dedicated to the demise of the sovereignty of the United States of America.

Well, brinny, I heard that you were just an agent of the Republican Party sent here to start smear and disinformation campaigns, and that you don't believe in Jesus Christ -- that cross by your name just being "cover" for your role.

It's probably not true, of course, but I feel honorbound to report it publicly, so people can draw their own conclusions. I mean, who are you going to believe, the person him/herself, or some anonymous person on an internet message board -- like you or like me to each other or to any of the other members here reading this?

Obama himself said it. My point is to research candidates, Obama included, diligently. The more I do, the more I'm convinced that Ron Paul is the only candidate that upholds the constitution of the United States and cares about its sovereignty.

He's rising to the bait. So far he hasn't made any mistakes, but that could change at any time.

If he really is a Christian, he shouldn't feel the need to constantly defend his faith - let his actions speak for him.

While his actions speak for him, I'll continue my research. THis election is a pivotal moment in history. It requires us all to research diligently what each candidate will contribute or take away from the Constitution and our country's sovereignty. Pretty words and smiles don't mean a daggone thing. I'll research all I can and pay attention when a candidate of the United States of America claims he's a Christian and says he does not believe in Jesus Christ.

Agreed.

Did he say he doesn't believe in Jesus Christ?

Based on the most recent photos of Obama it may be changing as we speak. The more comfortable he becomes the more he will most likely relax and bits of his true self may surface. He may feel comfortable enough to speak words that belie what he claims.

Getting popcorn.
