Looks like blacks cant do anything without castigation. They get accused of not being self reliant from welfare and AA, even though whites is the group that benefits the most from those programs. Then when they teach self reliance they are racists american haters.

This Meeks fellow is simply amazing. In the video, he tries to claim that he doesn't see why people would be upset about him calling black members of the city counsel "house n-----s." He goes on to claim that the n-word is not a "bad word" for blacks and is actually a term of endearment! I'm not sure how anyone can watch that clip and consider it usage 'endearing', but Sen. Meeks seems to want us to believe that. When questioned, he lapses into the ridiculous 'has to be heard in context' defense....about a strong a defense as the Chewbacca defense.

He's also got quite a track record when it comes to anti-gay sentiment, something that got Obama in trouble once before. But make no mistake, this albatross is securely tied around Obama's neck:

I haven't loaded any newer pictures of my most recent "punishment" as Obama would call her. Maybe I'll edit this with her Easter picture later.

Punishment, indeed. Nice to know what he thinks about babies and it really explains his decision to let them die in the delivery room.

Last year, the folks at Politico.com ran across a candidate questionnaire from Barack Obama's 1996 campaign for the Illinois state senate. In it, Obama answered questions about whether he supported parental consent or even notification before a minor received an abortion (he answered "no"); supported the death penalty ("no"); or supported state legislation to "ban the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns." (Obama said "yes")

When Politico.com asked Sen. Obama about these radical, far-Left positions, Barack's campaign claimed that he "never saw or approved" the questionnaire. They also claimed that a staffer filled it out and simply got the answers wrong. Sen. Obama, they claimed, knew nothing about it.

Oops.

Turns out that, not only did Sen. Obama know about it, he was actually interviewed by the liberal group that sent out the survey. Those answers were then written down, reviewed and amended by Sen. Obama--in his own handwriting!

So how does Sen. Obama explain his claim that he knew nothing about the questionnaire and the answers weren't his?

According to Politico:

"Obama, who won the group's endorsement as well as the statehouse seat, did not dispute that the handwriting was his. But he contended it doesn't prove he completed, approved--or even read[!]--the latter questionnaire."
(emphasis added)
So let me get this straight: Sen. Obama attended a racist, anti-Semitic, anti-American church for 20 years...but he never heard the pastor say anything controversial. He sat for an interview, wrote on the subsequent questionnaire, submitted it to a far-Left organization, got their endorsement...but he never READ the questions or approved the answers?

Does anyone really believe that? Isn't the easier, simpler and more obvious conclusion that Sen. Obama is simply lying? Instead of suffering from some bizarre form of ADHD, where Barack suddenly lapses in and out of consciousness during church services and interviews, isn't it far more likely that a)Sen. Obama supported Rev. Wright for 20 years and was proud to be a member of the church, until he got caught; and b) really did have far-Left positions on guns, abortion and the death penalty, until he got caught?

Which brings us to the final question: Is there any lie so big that a Barack Obama supporter won't swallow it? Thus far, the answer is "no." And unlike Barack, you can quote me on that.

Looks like the hits just keep on coming with Obama. Another pillar of his Spiritual Leadership, James Meeks has been outed as another 'pastor' content with preaching hate and racism.
This one and Obama share a history of campaign contributions from Rezko. How many more of these guys has the Obamessiah counted as spiritual guides and/or put in positions of such?

Scribbler, I have exchanged a couple of posts with you, and I know you are more logical then this, or is this what happens when fear creeps into politics....again.

The relationship is rather meaningless, the causation even more meaningless.

Not hardly. Obama set his own standards when he spoke out against Imus. He claimed that "there's nobody on my staff who would still be working for me if they made a
comment like that about anybody of any ethnic group." He showed as much when he came out against Trent Lott. Now we see he can't even hold himself to his own standard.

And despite that, he appoints these clowns as his spiritual leaders, guides and mentors. You label me 'illogical' because I point out Obama's hypocrisy?

I don't like seeing these racists and dividers influencing a major presidential candidate, Joy. Call it 'fear' if you like.
I call it standing up against hate and ignorance. A shame that so many on here defend it and make excuses for it.

Let me ask you one question, are you basing your views about these "spiritual leaders" on YouTube clips or have you heard the entire contents of their sermons?

What Imus said in context versus the entirety of Wright's sermon and the gist he was portraying are night and day when it comes to whatever you think a racist statement is.

btw, Wright is no longer has his part as a honorary member of his spiritual team.

I guess he really is going for the 'smoked, but didn't inhale' defense.

And 'garlic noses', JoyJuice? Could you put that one in context for me, too?

...and one more time, Wright is no longer a part of the Obama team, and heck, he has retired from his post as Pastor.

...you want Obama to send out a memo calling for his resignation?

Well, why did Obama stay at his church for so long? Why did Obama appoint him to a position of guidance?
Why list him as a mentor? Did he know about Wright's comments or not? The story seems to be ever-changing.
Obama's position seems more like 'sorry we got caught' than 'sorry I attended this church for so long', if in fact he's sorry at all.

Lol-it's a shame to defend what obama or wright ACTUALLY said? Or is it a shame the defamation about them gets revealed? Or is it a shame our culture is sooooo collectively immature lies are made up to slam candidates? Or is it a shame politics trumps Christ so fiercely that silly things like bearing false witness gets applauded? Or is it a shame that even after it is proven wright or obama didnt actually say what they were accused of, there is absolutley no apology? Perps be proud.

And it only took how long for him to leave the team? Compare that to how long before Trent Lott was forced to resign his position and the same with Imus

It is that. I'm ashamed that someone with a doctorate in theology and the title of pastor uses Jesus not to unite, but to divide people of different skin colors.
I'm ashamed he re-writes Christ's ultimate sacrifice so it becomes a crucifixion based on race (by 'garlic-noses', no less), instead of an atonement of sin.
I'm ashamed that Christians on here put their politics before their faith and defend those who do these things, make excuses for them, and carry water for them.

I guess to fit some people definition of 'Christian', we're required to look the other way while hate in the name of Jesus is swept under the rug.

So i had to look up exactly what obama said and wow. The lies start spreading before he even finishes talking. Now he's accused of saying a baby is an std. Perps be proud.
http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0308/Stop_these_abortions_.html

the windbag said:
"Look, I got two daughters — 9 years old and 6 years old," he said. "I am going to teach them first about values and morals, but if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby. I don't want them punished with an STD at age 16, so it doesn't make sense to not give them information."
Maybe my skin is a little too thin and you weren't calling me a liar.

Diehappy, in looking for what obama said i had to wade through several sites giving lies. One of them was that obama said babies are stds. I didnt see you make that claim so my post wasnt referencing you personally. Obama didnt say babies are punishment. He said his 16 year old daughter would be punished if she had to take care of a baby at that age. He can speak what he thinks about his own daughter cant he? I wouldnt say you lied, but what he said got twisted since he never said all babies are punishment.
