The claim that somehow Obama hasn't received scrutiny is a claim that was not only shot dead before getting out the starting gate, it was shot dead with a railgun.

People were already suggesting Obama was the antichrist a several years back. Can't get much more scrutiny than that.

Obama isn't "my guy" and hasn't given me any "goodies" except the treat of seeing how nonsensical the far-right is. You and Root do nothing but mindless speculation and accuse everyone who doesn't believe you of admiring Obama, even if we don't. I've criticized Obama on the expansion of surveillance and the expansion of the drone program, and I've done that MULTIPLE TIMES.

As far as I'm concerned the man can't get higher than a D+ and it's largely due to the expansion of the drone program which has killed innocent civilians with Obama as commander in chief and ultimately responsible. It's a lot lower grade than many conservatives on here would give their ketchup stain known in some circles as George W. Bush.

But this is how the "Obama argument" plays out on this forum. The fringe conservative accuses the liberal of loving Obama when the liberal simply just doesn't hate Obama. He doesn't necessarily even like him. But because he only "just doesn't hate Obama," the side effect is that the liberal doesn't believe every nonsensical, stupid lie that anyone EVER said about Obama that the fringe conservative does.

It makes for pretty hilarious scenarios, like this thread for instance.

What about the fact no one really remembers him from Columbia? What I have read is there is one Professor and that is it. Weird. You would think a bright young articulate black man would leave a lasting impression on classmates.

See, right here's one of the problems that is the speculation stew of birtherism.
A. The President didn't attend Columbia because no one remembers him.
B. The President did attend Columbia, but on a faudulent claim of being a foreign student.
C. The President did attend Columbia as a foreign student because he was born in Kenya.

So which is it?

Think about it. NBC or some such TV conglomerate wanted to do a slathering love piece on Hillary.

But anyway, yes, think about it. Why might NBC not be inclined to do an Obama miniseries, especially during his administration? I can think of one PR reason that would kill the idea in development - can you? As far as the information goes, they could just use what's in his autobiography.

His ridiculous argument on its face, regardless of Obama's roommate. I remember in my civics class a couple weeks, a group of us were grouped together to discuss Hannah Arendht (sp?) and if memory serves not one of us told the others our names. Ten, twenty, years from now, does any sane person expect to remember what they look like? I was pretty articulate when I carried my group on Arendht's thoughts of the French Revolution and how it failed, but it doesn't mean everybody or even anybody in that class is going to remember me.

But maybe that's just me seeing the sunlight shine off Obama back or whatever.
