I can dislike people and even hate them (by God's definition of hate), but at the same time Love them.Good question. It depends on what person you ask. God shows no partiality but at the same time the Bible describes that he does in fact dislike the unrighteous.

Does God favor some believers over other believers?
If you believe so, why? How come?
Are there scriptures that can prove otherwise?

There are believers, and then there are BELIEVERS! Those that walk the walk and talk the talk. Those that really "walk with God". I have no scripture to back it up, but it does seem he is closer to them that are close to Him, and in that there is "favor".Hey you, what do you think or believe when you look at this topic?

God cannot be just and play favorites at the same time. The proof? God is just. It is His own self-description of Himself. He also tells us He is no respecter of persons. Therefore if God plays favorites He is a hypocrite and does not tell the truth. Therefore He is sinful if He does.Hey you, what do you think or believe when you look at this topic?

Romans 5:7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
God is no respecter of persons. That said. You and your relationship with him will make you and him be closer. So in a sense there is respect and closeness he will have. But that is more up to us at that point and our relationship with him.Hey you, what do you think or believe when you look at this topic?

God loves all-wants all to be saved (1 Tim 2:4). Not all love God in return.Hey you, what do you think or believe when you look at this topic?

I think the opportunity of salvation is equal in that anyone can come. But I think God does give some people more than he gives others. And some people are disadvantaged even though they are not actually shut out. If I was living prosperously in Iran and it was my homeland, even though I am not excluded from salvation, the chances of me being Moslem are nearly 100%. That seems unlikely I would ever become Christian. Yet in America, the same person's chances would be significantly improved. So some get better circumstances.
So he favors the one who fears him and does what is right. When he says does not show favoritism, he is talking about favoring one nation over another, concerning who he accepts. No
Acts of the Apostles 10:34-35 NIV
Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism, but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.”
