I’m not concerned about the existence of George Floyd murals or what happens to them. We are discussing a statue that will be moved to another location not defaced or destroyed.

Kind of ridiculous, Jefferson was a key figure in US politics and his statues and monuments aren't about his stance on slavery, etc. There is a world of difference between this and confederate statues. Even Jackson deserves some monuments/his face on money....just uh, keep it away from native lands.
