I've got food on the stove, bread in the oven, and a teenager breathing down my neck - waiting for her turn to come online.

I do at work to alleviate the stress but at home I don't usually.

Do you have some really good contemporary Christian radio stations to listen to?

We have 2 great Christian FM radio stations. 1 CCM and one Christian talk.

Would you rather receive a gift or a gift card/gift certificate?

Gift card. ( I don't know anyone who knows what I like. And they're all so sensitive, if I don't act overjoyed about them giving me oven mitts, they get all petulant and don't want to ever give me anything again. (and they don't either).

Are you more likely to read a book or draw a picture?

It depends on who the gift is for.
I really enjoy finding "just the right thing" for family and close friends, but for those I don't know quite as well I'd prefer to give a gift certificate because I worry that I don't know their tastes and needs very well.

I would rather read a book. Although, when I was a child, you couldn't get me to stop drawing pictures. It's what I loved to do.
(I enjoy both, too. But if I have to choose one I'll always take a book. I did answer - post 888. )

Yes, maybe too much so sometimes.
Like when I worry that someone things their question was missed - when maybe they just wanted to share some info.

It like to be complimented, but in general I'm happier giving compliments than trying to come up with a gracious reply when someone compliments me.

Do you write thank you notes?

I do if it is more than a casual gift, for something really over the top or from someone unexpected.

Do you sometimes give the 'gift' of making someone dinner or a non-tangible item?

I bake cookies, breads and things as gifts pretty often.
I've got a limited budget and most people appreciate getting baked goods.
