Earth. (Boring I know, but I like my life pretty much the way it is!)

If you could be any animal (for just a day or two) what kind of animal would you want to be?

Do you think you would ever bungee jump, or parachute, or other similarly insane things?

I don't have a burning desire to do any of those things, but I might do them if the situation came up.... No - I don't believe I ever would. I won't even do the roller coaster!

Are you a "dare devil"?

NO! I'm with you, I don't even like roller coasters. in fact, I don't even like the easy amusement part rides. I'm more of a...sit inside with a good book or my computer kind of guy.

Not really. I used to write really bad poetry though, a few years ago. you know, the type the average "sensitive, adolescent male" writes. *gag*

Are you a LOTR fan?

I am a fan of the Lord of the Rings movies to a rational (not fanatical) degree. They are quite beautiful, well acted and the music is possibly the best part. But, I am not a fan of the books, or Tolkien's style of writing. And as I am well read, I feel no inclination towards adopting a more popular opinion in lew of my own.

I haven't had a candy bar in longer than I can remember. But, we had M&M's with our popcorn on "movie night"... which was yesterday.

Are you lazy?

Not especially. I like to keep busy and I like that feeling of knowing everything's done and done well.

Do you enjoy playing boardgames with your family?

Yes, I do. Cards also.

Do you enjoy ice fishing?

Yes - but only with my Dad.


What's your favorite thing to do with your family?

Sleep.

When I was in training I would have 36 hour days every other week. That's 36 hours wide awake making life/death complicated decisions. It is now outlawed because people died from the mistakes that people like me would make (yes, at least one died from my errors that I know of).

So I'd come home at 4PM and grab the first of my kids I saw and force them to come sleep w me.

This led to an interesting situation. My daughter was interviewed by a teaching student (w our permision) as part of her training as a teacher. So when asked what she thought about her dad she said, on tape: "I don't like it when my dad makes me sleep with him."

Well.... that took a bit to clear up!
