White. They need painting something better. It has a massive south facing aspect, so it gets lots of sun when there is any!

Can you see loads of wild countryside out your windows?

Yes, the view is great on that side of the house - it looks out over the valley and river, and we can see other mountains.

What I'd like to see: under the burnt-orange morning sun, past the olive groves, a crystal blue lake with gentle heat haze shimmerring. A light breeze from the south east, filled with Jasmine blossom, mixing in with the lilting aroma of freshly made coffee.

And I got...yup you guessed it...quite a bit of sloshy MUD. . But heyy I guess I could get used to it. I'm from the UM after all.

You've never looked in the mirror and thought, "gee, I look like so and so?"

I've been told I look like Helen Hunt.

Not just in appearance, but in mannerism. My husband looks a lot like Gary Sinise

...it's kind of freaky watching CSI New York or Forest Gump...my dh is the spitting image. And I'm not the only one who's noticed it. Complete strangers come up to him and ask him if he's ever been told he looks like him.

I think there are a finite number of types, or molds our creator used for mankind. You see someone and you think "hey, that person looks just like so and so" My older daughter for instance looks like Claire from Heroes. My other daughter looks like Lauren from Still Standing. My son looks like the Sheriff on that new Sci Fi show Eureka.

Have you ever been to Hollywood? (please no cracks or snide comments, I used to live there)

No, I've never been to Hollywood.

(I have red hair, dark eyes and no freckles - I really don't look much like anyone I remember seeing on TV or in the movies..... also, I'm really not much of a TV/movies kind of gal. My cousin dressed me up to look like Crystal Sparks - a character in the movie Hangman's Curse - but it took a lot of make up! )

Well, I'm not especially fond of television and/or movies... especially Sci Fi. (I am a fan of those who are fans of sci fi though. )

Daffodilly you need to watch the old sci fi B movies from the fifties, they are more like comedies anyways.

A lot of people in my husband line are adopted too...and they aren't interestd in their genealogy either... which is an attitude that I can't quite understand, being as it's so important to me... my heritage, my ancestry, why I am the way I am.

Hey, I used to be into Babylon 5 when it was still on the air....(it went off the air in 1998.) IMO they cancelled it before the story finished...and that was very disappointing to me at the time. But, it was a long time ago...so I guess I'm over it now.

...you can see her on Lost now, she plays Danielle. She's one of those people that I've dearly loved for a long time, that hardly anyone seems to know.

I would rather spend a weekend not having to do laundry or cooking! Actually, I like to read and watch movies, etc...but, I can't see doing either for an entire weekend.
