CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes...for a while when I was younger I wanted to change my first name to my middle (Marjorie), but now use Marjorie's Hebrew form as my username.

I didn't purchase anything, although I wanted to change the flowers out on my fathers niche. He passed away in 2004, and I really miss him.

No. My father beat that bad habit out of me when I was a child. I can still remember it vividly. My 7 year old does though. (and you can bet I won't beat it out of her.) But, I sure wish she would stop. Her little fingers are just nubs. Poor little sweetheart.

In my heart I would like to say Yes. But, in reality I would have to say no. The only way I would adopt children at this stage of my life, is if my sister died and I adopted hers. I already have 3 children.
