Please provide evidence for this claim that there were no winds during the Flood. (Either that or simply say "This is totally 100% Miracle and all physical laws were suspended during the Flood.")
In the story I know there is the part about the winds receding the flood, but I don't recall it saying that the Flood was so peaceful and calm (otherwise I'm even more uncertain why more living things couldn't escape, except maybe it was a Miracle Flood that Simply Killed Things By Fiat).
Which ones did you read, to form your current opinion?
If I remember correctly, they are near identical to each other. Also (genuinely curious here) - how did you (or whoever)come up with this list?
The flood would have left widely scattered and mostly fragile indications. It would resemble thousands of local floods as it receded, not a single event, just what we see in the geologic record.
You changed "little" to "no". Whyzat?
The ones that state there have been thousands of local floods around the world. A single flood that covers most everything doesn't leave a "high water mark" as there is little to leave it on, and less to leave it with.
Also (genuinely curious here) - how did you (or whoever)come up with this list?
No one has claimed that it would leave a "high water mark". It would just leave a mark of some sort. And your local floods fail because they are of different dates.
Here's a poser for you. There's a few good books out there about the evolution of the English Language bible.
Here's a poser for you.
See if you can figure this out.
If Genesis 1-10 was written in Jacobean English, and Jacobean English vanished at the tower of Babel, how did Moses translate the Jacobean English to Hebrew, if no one on Earth spoke it, and Moses had never seen Jacobean English in his life?
There's a few good books out there about the evolution of the English Language bible. A good book worth a read is "God's Secretaries"

Yes, it certainly is today.Genesis 1-10 wasn't written in any sort of English.
Yes, it certainly is today.
For a few hundred years probably, anyway.
I think a few hundred years ago is past. Right?Maybe you didn't notice the past tense.
Maybe you should read a discussion to get context before leaping into the fray and looking silly.I think a few hundred years ago is past. Right?
Nah, looking silly is small potatoes compared to most everyone,Maybe you should read a discussion to get context before leaping into the fray and looking silly.
AV believes Adam and Eve actually spoke Jacobean EnglishYes, it certainly is today.
