Nails?
Mr. Nye points out the following four facts:
He then says: 'I ask us all, is that really reasonable?'
- a 500 foot boat
- 8 zookeepers
- 14,000 animals
- every plant under water
To which I say: "Absolutely not."
BUT ...
Matthew 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
So for those men who say it wasn't possible, I applaud them for saying God did it.
Either that, or they used pitch.Maybe they are going to try and weld the planks together.
You probably believe Chriss Angel is for real, don't you?Well yes.... if you allow for magic to happen, then all rules of physics go out the window.
I am so sorry that the video was beyond your understanding. The fact is that he showed that Noah and family could not have built the Ark. Too bad you missed that point. And please, no false accusations. The laughter was genuine. How appropriate that the Tabernacle in the Wilderness cost just about as much, and was off-limits to the general population.
So whoever made this video can keep his fake laughter to himself.
Unless, of course, he wants to advertise his ignorance.
Pitch waterproofs it does not hold the planks together.Either that, or they used pitch.
I hope they are going to cut their own wood by hand, without the use of sawmills, transport it using only animal power, make their own nails, not use heavy lifting equipment, and with a completely unskilled workforce.
tl;dr
Then who held the planks together?Pitch waterproofs it does not hold the planks together.
Hey your the one posting in the physical sciences section what do you expect?tl;dr
I'm not going to read a thirty-foot dissertation on how a miracle of God couldn't have happened scientifically.
I don't believe in the existence of the ark so not my problem. Then who held the planks together?
Do you believe there was a ninth Person on the Ark?
I do.
That's what happens when someone takes the attitude:That is a video on an "ark" that was already built. Even using modern machinery it took four times as many man hows to what the Bible said that it took Noah and sons to build without any modern machinery.
Right now I'm making a video look stupid.Hey your the one posting in the physical sciences section what do you expect?
And yet you read a thirty-foot dissertation on something you don't believe in in the first place?I don't believe in the existence of the ark so not my problem.
Either that, or they used pitch.
Reminds me of Genesis 1.The fact is the ark and a global flood requires miracle piled upon miracle,
Yup ... well hidden:Goonie said:... finished of with 'god' hiding all evidence off said event.
Neither picture is evidence of a global flood. We've been through this before, haven't we?
Reminds me of Genesis 1.
Yup ... well hidden:

God is all the adhesion they need to rely on.So they are going to rely upon pitch for its adhesive properties, rather than just waterproofing?
No doubt whatsoever.lesliedellow said:Well, this might be even more of a hoot than I thought.
