The bible does not say. The only thing about Him, or any angel talking, is in the language of the one they were talking to. Whoever wrote the Torah seems to have spoken ancient Hebrew, (some things in the OT were also written in Aramaic), then God spoke to him in Hebrew. God wrote the 10 commandments in Hebrew.The NT was written in everyday Greek. That everyone spoke one language for a long time is stated in the bible, and then God broke that up. It never states what language that was. I prefer to speculate on the unknown only within the realm of possibility---if then. The first bibles were in Hebrew, it is what Jesus spoke, along with Aramaic. After that, they were written in Latin. The very first bible printed by Guttenberg was in Latin. The first English one was not until Wycliffe in around 1380----Why did you not choose Latin as the language of heaven??? You would be burned at the stake if you were found with a bible in any other language but Latin. Jacobean English in heaven??!!! No reason to even consider that.

That's today---as scripture says "knowledge shall be increased."---Before that--thousands of years before that, when England was a land of pagan farmers and warriors only---China surpassed the world in knowledge.

The Romans had the power and the knowledge when they reigned, before that it was the Greeks, and even with the Roman power, Greek was still the dominant language. And the Egyptians had knowledge that we still don't understand.

A "non-denominational church" which is independent creedally and authoritatively may be found to hold any combination of Christian beliefs. From anti-biblical cults to extremely solid, vibrant churches, and everything in-between, all may be found to claim the title "non-denominational."

Oddly enough, the original Hebrew states this dividing of the earth as a slit--that word meaning split lengthwise though.

Okay AV, first a little background. I don't know what was going on yesterday with my computer or the CF but I had problems and my short post to you was cut short and I couldn't seem to get back in. I didn't have any other problems on the internet other than the CF. So my ability to respond to anything on the CF yesterday was quite a bit more than just a tad bigger. Were there any problems you or anyone knows with the CF yesterday?

Nevertheless, lets move forward. To complete the post I started yesterday, my comment was to suggest that your scripture post concerning the creation of angles implied no such thing. What do minerals have to do with God creating angles? Again, where in the bible does God create angles?

You're the one making an issue about these stones, which you said were 'of sedimentary origin;' which, of course, is just plain wrong.

Those stones that Lucifer had were created ex nihilo, and didn't go through any sedimentary or mineralization processes whatsoever.

Angels were created before the earth was, since Job says they shouted for joy at its creation.
