There is no such thing as HOMOPHOBIA. This is a made up word by the homosexual political agenda. Them and their money in cahoots with a few people in the Psychology field, have come up with this retarded word. Retarded because it only retards our countries progress.

I love how they try and make the dislike of homosexuality a "Phobia". In which they are trying to make the normal heterosexual 'Unstable' or 'Mentally Deranged' because they have an aversion to a vile SIN like homosexuality. It's a thing of beauty as far as PROPAGANDA is concerned. Joseph Goebbels is giving two thumbs up in his burning grave.

So if you want to discuss politics or religion in a sane fashion, don't use the word "homophobia" because it only makes you look weak.

Say your aversion or dislike of homosexuality. Once you use the made up PROPAGANDA word 'homophobia' then you look like you have run out of real words and are drooling made up slurs. It's not attractive.

Come on people, let's try to keep it above the belt and real. There is no reason for pure propaganda around here.

Etymology
The word homophobia is a neologism first coined by psychologist George Weinberg in his book Society and the Healthy Homosexual in 1972. It can be broken down into the Greek words homo meaning "the same" and phobia which means "fear". It may be seen as a portmanteau of homosexual and phobia. A precursor was homoerotophobia, coined by Dr Wainwright Churchill in Homosexual Behavior Among Males in 1967.

Usage of the term
The term homophobia usually implies irrational hatred and fear of homosexuals or homosexuality itself. Some people, especially in the gay rights movement, use the term to mean any sort of disapproval of homosexuality, whether subtle or explicit, unconscious or conscious, completely unreasoning or in some way principled. These advocates make no distinction between the two usages and consider all opposition to homosexuality irrational.

P.s. This has noting to do with "hate". This has everything to do with common courtesy. Thank you.

No one is making heterosexuality "unstable" or....whatever. Both heterosexuality, homosexuality, and bisexuality are completely natural and do not hurt anyone.

There is no such thing as sin. Sin is a thing made up by the same men who wrote the Bible. It is believed by many that it was done in order to control people, but as I do not have any links to back this up, nor would you have believed me anyway, it doesn't matter.

This has everything to do with hate and fear. You hate, and fear, homosexuals. You need counseling, Shield. You need help.

Interesting. So when Phelps has signs that say, "God hates f*gs", that's not homophobia? Or does Phelps not exist?

Guys in my dorm used to say things like, "I wish I could line them all up and just gun them down." Why? He just hated them.

What is that? Simply wishful murderous rage? Is that better?

What about the person that assumes that because I am gay, I will have a hard time resisting him, when nothing could be farther from the truth? Simply self delusional? Simply ignorant?

Any of those work for me.

There was a doc that I watched about a heterosexual male who was a kindergarten teacher. When the parents found out that the teacher was male, they asked to transfer to the other class. At first, they said that it was an issue of a woman being more nurturing, but often, they assumed he was gay because of the job. Ironically, they feared more about having a man as a teacher influencing their boys to be gay, than worrying about the lack of male teachers as role models.

I wish that it didn't exist.

Ok
Is mindless bigot better then? I personally prefer that myself.

And kudos to the Homosexual Propaganda Agenda - I quite like the sound of being unstable and deranged. Makes me sound kinda edgy
hehe... the last part of your post was funny. I don't agree with the first part, but the comedic value of the second makes up for it.

Homosexuality and bisexuality are not perfectly normal. They are sins.

I do not hate, nor do I fear homosexuals. I feel sorry for them. They are trapped in a sin that is dragging them down. They need JESUS.

Only HE can set them free from sin and make them whole and new.

All heathen need JESUS and His cleansing blood.

Homosexuality and bisexuality are both perfectly natural. Animals, like dolphins and bonobos, perform homosexual acts on eat other. They are only a tiny sample.

They NEED all this bigotry to end. And you have no reason to feel sorry for me, or any other homosexual/bisexual. We're perfectly happy the way we are.

Which is the worst sin? Lying or homosexuality? Or are they both the same?

You want homosexuals to lie to themselves and others and pretend to be heterosexual when deep down they know they are not.
Either way they can't win as whatever they choose they will be living a life of unrepentant sinfulness, won't they?

So which would make God happier and why?

And there are no such thing as racism and anti-Semitism either
Big, I am specifically talking about the 'word' "homophobia". It is a newly made up word for propaganda purposes. Racism and anti-Semitism have been around since sin popped up.

In the words of Bobcat Golthwait (the guy from the first few Police Academy movies) - it's because they actually fear you WON'T be attracted to them. Because if you don't, then girls don't like them, guys don't like them, and animals are afraid of them.

SoF, language evolves all the time. Homophobic has been a useful word for describing those with your apparent unfounded bias for at least thirty years, regardless of its origins.

It is my opinion that the continual ranting by a few individuals, against homosexuals, that goes on in this forum is an expression of homophobia amounting to a fixation. I really think some of you should take a break and go off on some other segment of society for a while. In fact, we feminists are pretty tough; we could stand a bit more aggro in order to give the homosexuals a bit of a breather. Go for it.

So, what you're saying is, you'll be my meatshield in the game of Life so when we get to the end, I might get epics?

Oh for ****'s sakes, so if someone socks a gay person in the face, spits, on them, and throws insults saying "Dirty [wash my mouth]" then they're not homophobic? Wait - nah, you're right, that just makes them bastards.

You know, I've never heard any Real True Christian say exactly what it is about homosexuality that makes it sinful. All I get is the circular reasoning that "[my interpretation of] the Bible says it's sinful, therefore it must be a sin, because [my interpretation of] the Bible says it's a sin..."
