I think you will find it's "Men who can see trying to find an invisible wall."Fallen man may only talk about the world and fallen things, that's why science is great regarding medicine, or technology, but regarding everything else it is required faith and God. To me, those scientists trying to find things that are clearly beyond their human possibilities is for me just blind men trying to go against a wall. I do not know when will you stop mentioning the Bible because my knowledge and the Orthodox knowledge doesn't come only from the Holy Scripture, but mostly from the Holy Tradition, so stop telling me things about the "Bible", something you did not read and of course you would not understand anyway because I am not telling you things from the "Bible".
True, I can only see what's there.paulm, I understand you do not have the enough preparation, actually you have any, for interpreting the Bible and your ignorance is what is talking because you have clearly a poor culture, not you, so please stop teaching me things about the Bible because you don't know anything about it, for me you are like a carpenter teaching me neuroscience.
When people tell me to believe something that isn't there and the bible tells me stories that aren't true. People twist the words of Jesus in the bible. I can only conclude, given the evidence from the history of churches linking themselves to despotic rulers who kept ordinary folk in serfdom for the benefit of the church and rulers.
That a lot of what a poor Jewish carpenter, walking and preaching in Palestine, said and was executed for trying to break the hold of a similar money making religion. Has been twisted to the benefit of men who drape themselves in fine robes, and telling everyone they know more than those who question them.
I will refrain from throwing personal insults, it's unChristian.
