CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I guess you're right. Pinkguard can be such a drama queen sometimes.
But she's come home from school some days saying that some of the other girls in her class are excluding her during recess because they don't "like her boots".
I'm like... these kids are FOUR!! What the heck??

I have one of each and get comments such as doesn't your ds want a brother, or doesn't your dd want a sister.
LOL. In an ideal world I would have another boy and another girl so they can each have a same sex sibling. But this isn't an ideal world.

My dad had the same thing from other people. I am the youngest of 3 girls, and he says he wouldn't change it for the world. He adores his girls.
My mom thought she was pregnant a few months after she had me. Everybody was saying it would be fantastic for my dad to have a little boy but he said he was actually secretly hoping for another girl. As it turns out she wasn't pregnant again.
I honestly believe that God gives us what we are meant to have. If our next one is a boy that would be great but another girl would also be fantastic. I'd be happy with whatever.
