ACTUALLY, doesn't the Bible say to separate for a short time when your not getting along in a marriage...? I think, although he may have said it in a semi-harsh way... I think MIBoy's approach may be unorthodox but helpful.

Unfortunately PetraFan007 not everyone knows there bible like you and I do:

Proverbs 21:9 Better to live on a corner of the roof than share a house with a quarrelsome wife.

I'd like to say that even the most twisted mind could not even put their own spin on this one but some unwise fool will attempt it no doubt, but old solomon definitely says it is OK.

I don't remember reading anything in the bible, telling people to separate when hard times come. I do remember reading that a man and woman should not be physically separated from each other except to take time for fasting and prayer.

Here this should help your memory-

It means, don't let a wife treat you disrespectfully, if she does then let her be by herself. It takes self control and courage to go live on a corner of a roof.

the bottom line is that women do not like a man who stands up for himself. My response can not be argued or debated, it solved the problem. why! Because Dr. phildom is nothing compared to Solomon. You have other options Lancer than the people who sit around regurgitating dr. phil and dr. laura.

Men stand up for your dignity, don't let a woman treat you like dirt beneath their shoes, because believe me once they get a foothold it is all over. Go fishing, golfing take care of yourselves, and when she gets thru playing her mind games and wants to jump in the sack and go at it passionately, then take her fishing and golfing with you some times.
