Right, and on the Mecca website it says that Allah is a moon god and he hides in the Kabaa. In fact, you wrote such a thing yourself on this forum just yesterday...again this is not true because I already commented on it where I put many possibilites to thr truthfulness of his claim.

I have a better idea than these mosques, they can convert to Christianity and build a few more Christian churches instead.
Conversion to Christianity solves the shortage of head cloth for the girls and prayer mats to face Mecca with issue from a mass conversion to Islam so Christianity is the cheaper more logical alternative.Or all the Christians could convert to Islam and then everything would be a mosque!

Ok so there now is the issue of alignment of said newspaper/rag/mat with Mecca. This will require mass production of compasses or gps tracking devices because if your a couple of degrees out you could be praying to Israel or Greece and worse still The White House and your prayers won't be answered. So as I stated earlier this conversion to Islam to is far too complicated for a whole nation.Ah, but Muslims do not tithe. I saved 10% of my income by converting. As for a prayer rug any clean material can be used. I often use a newspaper or plastic bag when traveling. the prayer rug has no religious significant. It's purpose is to keep your clothes clean.
They can be very ornate or as simple as a newspaper/plastic bag/sheet of cardboard..
As for a Hijab, I'm in North Dakota any sensible person has their head covered when they go outside here.

Christianity just uses a simple bible as well as some man made traditions from your local church and nothing much more.
Ah, but if we do not know the direction of the Qibblah.
Ah, but if we do not know the direction of the Qibblah we can just make it our intent to pray towards the Qibblah and that will suffice.
TRIVIA: It is only for the 5 Salat (obligatory prayers) we face the qibblah for. For our Du'a (personal prayers) we can face in any direction as long as we are not facing something visibly disrespectful such as a manure pile, etc.
Our salat is basically the same as what Christian call a worship service or Mass. Except we all face the same Alter which is the Qibblah inside the Kabah in Mecca. there is no alter inside individual Mosques, we all face the same alter. The interior of a Mosque is low Budget no Alter, Very plain open room, no pews etc.
Being inside a Mosque for our Salat is not essential. Many of us only go inside the Mosque for Salat if it is raining. (or in my case snowing)
Here is a picture of My Favorite Mosque it is located in Ross ND
I've been in a few mosques. The last time was when my uncle died and he was buried there. He had converted to Islam after having serving time in jail. It was very interesting, although I was a bit uncomfortable there. Oddly enough, those have to do with tensions that are created by people none of us probably knew in a country we didn't live in!
Our synagogues are built so that when we face the Torah ark, we face Jerusalem. Specifically we're facing where the Temple stood.
In Roman Catholic and Most Anglican Churches the Alter is at the Eastern Wall so the Congregation faces East.
I believe it is only some American Fundamentalist Christians that do not have a prescribed direction to face during formal prayer. i suspect many Christians are unaware the Churches are designed so the congregation faces east during prayer.

I'd venture that most American Protestants don't pray to the East simply by numbers alone. Southern Baptists (being the largest single Protestant denomination in the country) definitely don't adhere to what they think are "superstitions" as such, and I'd imagine the same holds true for denominations that tend to be "less Mainline". That is Pentecostals, Baptists, Calvinists etc.
Not really a contest of your post, just an observation I've had throughout the years. I've noticed Anglican churches to be especially traditional in a neat, interesting way.
