That is an American Joke. Virginia is an American State. A person from Virginia is called a Virginian.
George Washington
Thomas Jefferson
Jim bowie were famous Virginians.
American humor is often difficult to understand.
Absolutely! It is in none of their scriptures.
AGREE, there are evil people in all religions...there are evil people in all religions.
I can not tell, whether you chose to ignore it, or you missed it, or you chose not to accept it.It is the people not the scriptures.
please don't mind, I would reply this matter above tomorrowYou will find quite a few Christian Americans that believe America is a Christian Nation. some even seem to believe the Constitution came from the bible.
What many call Christian Principles are exemplified in the concept of "Manifest Destiny" and the belief it was the American Responsibility to expand Westward spreading Christianity.
This dates back to the Westward Movement when the native Americans were killed and their land taken. It was called "Manifest Destiny"
SOURCE
The treatment of Native Americans by the Missionaries and the believers of "Manifest Destiny" is Americas greatest shame. Entire Tribes were massacred in the Belief that God had given the land to the Christian Settlers.
My current wife and My wife before her had Grand Parents that lived through the terror of "Manifest Destiny" which laid the path for what became Fundamentalist American Christianity.
My second wire's Grandmother was a survivor of the "Trail of Tears"

Up here in the Dakotas where I live many here had Granparents killed at "Wounded Knee" Although my wife is Cheyenne, it is a sister tribe of the Lakota and we are accepted by the Lakota and spend much of our time on the reservations. We did live on the Cheyenne River Reservation at one time and we still keep our horses on the Standing Rock reservation. We try to help the people on the "Pine Ridge Reservation" with food and clothing
"Wounded Knee" is still fresh in the memory of the Lakota

Because of "Manifest Destiny" Life is still hard for the Lakota. Life on the reservation can be hard.

Only no one can seem to find the supposed verses from the Quran. Instead they keep posting verses that authorized the use of force against other tribes in the region that had already initiated war against the Islamic communities. They apply to very specific "infidels". Often critiques take those authorizations and pretend that they imply to everyone on the face of the planet who isn't Muslim which simply isn't a logical deduction. It may sound somewhat plausible when all you see are the out of context quotes but you read a little more of the surrounding context it doesn't any more.Absolutely!
except Islam, it has.
AGREE, there are evil people in all religions...
BUT, please note that;
its true, there are evil people in Christianity, but you will never find any command for Christians to become "evil people" in its scripture. even I can say that its scripture had written about the weed among the wheat.

its true, there are evil people in Islam, but I assured you that you can find its command in its scripture. and people whom "evil people" in human eyes are Allah's helper in its religion.

anybody who left Christianity wouldn't be questioned by Christians "religion" body...for Christianity do realize that it was personal relation between God and human, unlike Islam.
but I would like represent to you one name, came from Indonesia whom persecuted last year; Omega Suparno.

Any sensible person would have tried to stop the advance of Muhammad's hordes.
This event is also recorded in Sahih Bukhari, although in this book the dialogue is tainted with theological nonsense which has clearly been added later in order to demonize the Jews.[/SIZE]

In order to be violent, a Christian must ignore most of Jesus.
In order to be nonviolent, a Muslim must ignore most of Muhammad.
Fact of the matter is (and Woodrow will disagree with me here) all the ahadith were compiled centuries after Muhammad and none of them are all that reliable.
I think we agree that the Ahadith are not commandments as some non-Muslims seem to believe.
LOL. Have we ever heard of the Inquisition?
And please, don't hand me the No True Scotsman argument.
If Christians no longer engage in this behavior it is because the Enlightenment (an explicitly anti-Christian movement) made the West considerably less religious.
The English in this article is so bad it is incomprehensible.
He does use fighting words, I'll grant you that.
Muhammad's 'hordes' were not advancing when they were attacked. It was a small party that was just outside of Medina checking the perimeter when they were ambushed.
So you take from al-Bukhari whatever makes Islam look bad and discount whatever explains their actions. Figures.
Fact of the matter is (and Woodrow will disagree with me here) all the ahadith were compiled centuries after Muhammad and none of them are all that reliable.
The inquisition is regarded as one of the darkest organizations to have contaminated the history of Christianity. Why? Because their actions were completely opposed to what we, Christians, believe in. On the contrary, people like Osama Bin Laden are considered heroes in the Islamic world.
Likewise, Tamerlane, who killed 5% of the world population, is also admired by many Muslims, to the point that some name their sons after him. Have you ever heard of Tamerlane Tsarnaev?
The problem with you (here I am using the plural from of the word, once again) is that you confuse objectivity with aggression.
I have quoted your sacred texts, and you said that I was writing obscenities
Muhammad's hordes killed everyone around them.

SOURCEBin Laden was on the American Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) lists of Ten Most Wanted Fugitives and Most Wanted Terrorists for his involvement in the 1998 U.S. embassy bombings.

I strongly disagree that the Qur'an commands violence.
However I have found that those who desire to find commands for violence in any Scripture, will find commands for violence in those scriptures.
If a person desires to find commands for violence in the NT they will find them.
If a person desires to find commands for violence in the Qur'an they will find them.
If a person desires to find commands of violence in the Torah, they will find them
It is called selective reading out of context. We seem to have the ability to read into another person's scripture, whatever we desire to read into it.
In today's world you can go to a hate site against any or all religions and find what somebody see...
Yet, we in America supported bin Laden when he was fighting the Russians and we supplied him with Arms.
Oddly, there never has been sufficient evidence to indict him regarding 9/11.

Another odd twist
SOURCE
Yes, Bin Laden was viewed as a "Robin Hood type persona in parts of the world. In much the same way kids of my Generation admired "Jesse James" and "Billy the Kid" does that mean American kids of the 1930s-1940s were terrorists?
