No More Bottle

I had to break my 3 year old when she was 13 months old because she was biting the top of the nipples off, scared me and I was afraid that she would choke on the nipple, so we walked them over to the trash can and said Bye-bye to them, she never wanted another one again...

my daughter at 10 1/2 months is doing this now! I thought that we just needed to get new nipples.. She is too little for a sippy cup IMO, I dont know how well she would do at it.

That is all great advice thanks for the input. She now only wants the paci at night same for the bottles. I think I will try talking with her about the switch from bottles to cups and see how that works. As for grandma I am about to pull my hair out. I will have to have a talk with her too.

We used the silicone nipples (the clear ones) as opposed to the latex (the brown ones). Silicone lasts longer and it much more durable, I think. We never had either of our girls bite the ends off...bite holes in them, yes, but never bite the ends off.

Heather great minds think alike, that is what I was gonna say. I would use the Silcone nipples....
