And I am asking you to do your own research.
It was proposed as part of the climate change bill to reduce "green house gasses."
All the little things add up and have been discussed over the past 4 years
The rules for independent contractors
The rules for cows
The sale of US Steel to Japan
The condition of the roads (Trillions for infrastructure and the road between Phoenix and Las Vegas is a pot hole disaster.)
You may not pay attention but farmers, truck drivers and union workers do pay very close attention.
It is too late for Joy and Abortion to overcome the fact that these groups have been talking about the Biden administration, the economy and immigration for 4 years.
I am interested to see if the surge in early voting is the "abortion" or the "been waiting to vote for Trump and can't wait another day."
I am cynical enough about my fellow citizens to think it is most likely "abortion"
It could be people rushing out to vote Biden and his administration out of office.
We shall see.
Your claim, your responsibility to provide the evidence. I did google "Rules for cows" but among the pages of results I looked at, none were about eliminating them.

This is from an article from Vox which is not a right wing publication
"With the stakes so high, there’s every reason to believe that meat could be the next big fight in our all-consuming culture war.
“Biden bans burgers” isn’t a one-off lie; we may look back on it as the meat wars’ Fort Sumter."

This is from an article from Vox which is not a right wing publication
Which, including the intro to the link, says exactly the opposite of what you And the op claimed. Should we assume that you didn't read it? Well, I did. Three years ago, in fact. So here's a helpful summary for you.

'Biden’s not taking away your meat...

Biden’s climate change plan does not limit meat-eating in any way...

this is yet another instance of a fake outrage cycle in the right-wing echo chamber pegged to a lie...

Biden’s climate policies so far have not advanced this goal, so those conservative potshots over the weekend were lies (the article is 3 years old)...

the Mail’s article took off in the right-wing media world, with many interpreting it as an actual summary of Biden’s policy aims...

the most influential vector was Fox News, which made an easily shareable infographic about “Biden’s climate requirements” that launders the Mail’s misinformation as an authoritative claim about Biden’s plan stemming from the University of Michigan itself...

On Monday, Fox News’ John Roberts admitted the error on-air: “a graphic and the script incorrectly implied it [the Michigan study] was part of Biden’s plan for dealing with climate change. That is not the case.”...

lies that circulate unchallenged in the right-wing media ecosystem can sometimes harden into myths...

as Biden continues to roll out his climate change policies, expect some conservatives to say it bans beef — even if it does nothing of the kind.'

There are enough policy differences between the candidates that you can discuss if you like. Why people feel the need to repeat made up lies like this is beyond me.

"Biden bans burgers" isn't a one-off lie; we may look back on it as the meat wars' Fort Sumpter"

It isn't a one-off lie

Did you miss that part? It is only the start of the war on meat with the goal of banning burgers.
Too many times Biden has said, "no we won't" and the next thing you know, Biden does.
Ag is taking it seriously, whether it is a "lie' or "Fort Sumpter" Ag is not taking a chance on Harris, you bet.

The sentence cannot be parsed the way you propose.
It is fairly straight forward.
It could be a lie, as in never happening or it could be a truth that it is merely the start of the war.

In any event there are billions of dollars involved in the meat industry and having to pay "methane credits" or some crazy scheme is enough to get them out to vote against even so "maybe" a threat and that means Harris.

There is one way to definitively know whether it's true or not. Provide documented, verifiable proof that Biden said it.

If you can do that, then it's true. If you can't...

Which is exactly what your own link said. I even pasted ten quotes from it confirming as much. So there is no 'It could be...'. It was a lie was then. And it's a lie now. You know it. So stop repeating it.

The Biden Administration...the start of the war
  • The Department of Agriculture highlighting ongoing research efforts and investments to reduce methane emissions from beef and dairy systems.
Reduce Methane Emissions from Beef and Dairy Systems

The Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is developing science-based models and tools that are helping industry partners assess and track progress toward net zero emissions from the U.S. dairy sector. ARS researchers have collaborated with university and industry partners to conduct a full life cycle assessment of U.S. beef and dairy systems in order to further improve dairy’s environmental footprint and reduce ammonia and methane emissions from manure storage sources with a goal of reducing overall methane emissions. In addition to the cutting-edge research being pursued by USDA scientists, the Department’s Rural Development mission area has supported over $200 million in methane reducing anaerobic digester projects over the past year.

This is what makes AG nervous
This is something that was talked about extensively, during the creation of this fact sheet in 2022.
Biden may not have said it but his administration was in the process of creating future plans to reduce methane emission
That is the "ban cows" talk about eating bugs, promoting vegetarianism, or developing vat meat.
So yes, the Biden adminstration did consider "reducing then number of cows, with a goal of 0 methane.
As to "lies"
"You can keep your doctor..and your gas stove"

None. (Even if the Biden administration actually attempted, somehow, to reduce the number of cows, that is not the same as getting rid of them.)

Got it.

As to "lies"
"You can keep your doctor..and your gas stove"
Um....is Biden banning doctors or gas stoves now?

Same rules apply, dude. Provide documented, verifiable proof that Biden prevented people from keeping their doctors or keeping their gas stoves, and you'll prove those statements (assuming they're accurate quotes) are lies. If not...

-- A2SG, but you've got to do better than the cows bit...cuz that did not prove that what Trump said was true.....

If you want to start a thread about farming, the implications of livestock to global warming and the ethics of eating animals, then you be sure to start a thread on it. This one is about some of Trump's idiotic lies about banning cows and windows. Which you now know are indeed lies.

I could not keep my doctor. I have a nurse practioner.
I had a friend who went to the emergency room. He was told he had to go to a nurse practioner then be recommended to a doctor or the emergency room.
He went home and made all the appointments.
In the meantime, he was screaming in pain a few hours after he returned home.
His family called an ambulance. He went directly to the emergency room.
He had an emergency operation for a burst appendics and almost died.

As for gas stoves, there aren't anymore hookups being installed in California. And you can't run a gas stove if you can't get the fuel.
This is an indirect ban on gas stoves but it still originates within the Biden Administration, and is executed by Newsom & CA regulatory agencies.

So when them boys start eyeing the cows, it is most likely Fort Sumpter, no lie.

And Biden specifically caused this how, exactly?

Okay....so in California, people can't get a new gas stove, but that isn't the same as "not keeping" their current ones, is it? And, beyond that, unless you can cite a specific executive order from the President mandating this regulation, then it came from the California legislature, not the White House.

So....no lie there.

Assuming, of course, that President Biden specifically said what you claimed he said. You might want to provide the exact, specific quote, just to be sure, though.

-- A2SG, though, we are moving away from the "no cows" lie, just so you know....

That applies to new homes. Which will also have to have solar panels. Now hands up all those people who are dumb enough to want a gas stove when the solar panels will be supplying free energy to your home.

California gets something in the order of 27 kWh per day from panels.

And you'll still be cooking steaks on that griddle.

I am in Arizona. I have solar water system. It runs the pumps in the well.
I also had an EV, a $69,000 new car which in 4 years was worth $25,000
Nobody wants EV's, and especially used. The manufacturers can't hardly sell them.

Do not preach to me the joys of solar panels, Evs or any all electric.
My brother was "all electric." There was an ice storm, cloudy skies for 8 days. The electric went out. He nearly froze to death.
He certainly would have done better with gas. And gas is cheaper.
That solar does not work at night or on cloudy days. It is a constant "keep an eye on it" IT isn't "on demand"

Hybrid is the way to go. If you just rely on an EV as opposed to a hybrid and you don't charge it via your solar panels then you might expect some problems.

And your brother lost mains power for 8 days? Where on earth does he live? Cuba is having major problems at the moment but even they've only been losing power for a couple of days at at a time. And wherever he lives he can still get gas. A gas heater and a gas bottle will keep you warm. And if your bro lives somewhere where it's possible to be out or power for a week, then he really needs to investigate a generator.

That ain't Biden's fault. That's his.

Oregon Ice Storms in 2021, 2024
Two times.

America is a tough country.
Oregon ice storms are not Texas and Oklahoma ice storms where in some winters, thousands of cattle have frozen to death.
And tinkering with that fragile technological envelope within which Americans survives by every starry eyed Washington wahoo is a disaster in the making.
Trust me, the AG business knows that when Washington starts mooing about methane reduction and cows it bodes ill and probably in very short order.

And Trump is all hat and no cattle (to keep it about cows). Yet people think he's as genuine as all get out. It's a mystery in every other country.
