I’ve never seen the movie, but heard about it. Apparently he’s a vegetarian, and said a Buddhist prayer to make atonement or something like that.

How do we know?

You don't know this. Kamala Harris was behind the green new deal...
Sure, she cosponsored a bill calling for one, but it would have been nonbinding and only included a list of policy goals that the US should pursue. None of them had anything to do with eliminating cows or even regulating livestock at all.
She doesn't need much to push her over the edge and the small family farm can't afford cow fart taxes.
There is only one country in the world with a plan to do this, and that's not the US. Even Denmark, which has this methane emission tax on the books, won't have it take effect until 2030 so it might very well never go into effect.
Kamala Harris is the farthest left candidate to ever run for office in all of American History.
She's not even the farthest left candidate to run for the presidency in this election, much less any office in all of American history. Both West and Stein are significantly to the left of her on most things.
Your accusing Trump of jumping to some crazy conclusion but you're doing the same thing when you dismiss how far left she is out of hand.
She's center-left at best.
I do imagine that if Harris gets into office the days of little boys helping with the families cows on the family farm are done.
What? What does that even mean?
It's difficult enough for a small family farm, the left just compounds everything with never ending taxes and regulations.
I'm not aware of any new taxes aimed at small family farms, and regulations have to go through a pretty rigorous process to make sure they are necessary.
The Biden Harris Administration likes going after the Amish... I think Harris will be that on steroids.
Does being Amish somehow exempt somebody from having to follow federal laws? If Amos MIller wants the federal government to leave him alone, all he needs to do is follow federal law. ETA: Looking into it further, neither of the legal actions against Miller were initiated by the Biden Admin. The first was brought by the Obama Admin and the second was brought by the Trump Admin.

The movie is...incredible but has some extraordinarily violent and some inappropriate scenes and themes for sure

This is silly. You can tell whether someone is joking or serious by context etc. - have people never had a conversation before?

Trump is pretty normal on the conversation front. He's not hard to figure out.

You have to take him at face value like a regular person. It seems quite ridiculous to explain what a normal conversation is like.

Well, when I and others take Trump's words as they appear in context, we are often told that we are misunderstanding him. And that it's just the liberal media misrepresenting him.

When he says that the military should be used on the enemy within, and he identifies the enemy within as those who oppose him, it sounds a lot like he wants to use the military against his political opponents. When he says that Mexico is sending rapists, it sounds like he's calling Mexicans who enter the country rapists.

But, so I'm told, he didn't mean either of those things. Or I am misunderstanding him. Or the media has misrepresented him.

So I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to understand Trump. Am I supposed to take his words seriously, or is he always joking or being sarcastic when he says things like this?

He repeated the conspiracy theory that Haitians in Springfield, OH are eating cats and dogs in a live debate with Kamala Harris. Did he mean that, or was he joking?

What's extra confusing is that often it seems like the first understanding is the one they actually like.

When he says that the military should be used on the enemy within,

He said national guard and I definitely agree with him.

Don't you recall the violent BLM protests? The billions of dollars worth of damage, dozens dead etc etc.

National guard.

The protesting Marxist's and Hamas supporting terrorists and and and should have to face the national guard and face arrest for crimes.

A refusal to use them is destroying our society.

It's hard to forgive.

Never forget Jan. 6 didn't happen in a bubble, it was immediately after the summer now sarcastically coined "the summer of love" for the billions in damage and so many lives lost while the media lied to everyones faces and called it "mostly peaceful."

People were already wronged by a government who refused to enforce law and angry about it. Enforcing the law includes using the national guard to restore order. None of that should have ever been allowed.

Yeah, best deal ever. Get the military involved! what could possibly go wrong?

Well, I could give you lots and lots of examples. In lots of countries. Over very many generations. But I think it's best if you look them up for yourself. Let me know if I can be of any help.

He said national guard and I definitely agree with him.
He did say "national guard" and then went on to say the military. Do you remember how he had a peaceful, lawful rally in Lafayette Square (opposite the WH) tear gassed so he could walk across the square accompanied by generals in uniform (tricked) and hold up a Bible right side up?
Don't you recall the violent BLM protests? The billions of dollars worth of damage, dozens dead etc etc.
That all happened when he was president and stopped happening when he wasn't.
National guard.
And military. Don't you read the links, watch the videos or listen to what he says? Or is your hearing selective?

I think the bigger problem is the enemy from within,” Trump said. He added: “We have some very bad people. We have some sick people, radical left lunatics. And I think they’re the big — and it should be very easily handled by, if necessary, by National Guard, or if really necessary, by the military, because they can’t let that happen.”

The protesting Marxist's and Hamas supporting terrorists and and and should have to face the national guard and face arrest for crimes.
People who commit crimes should face arrest for them. But what is a crime in the US? Protesting as a Marxist is legal. Terrorism is not legal. Sexual assault is not legal. Fraud is not legal. Insurrection is not legal. Obstruction of justice is not legal.

Selective much?
A refusal to use them is destroying our society.
Turning the military against citizens for opposing Trump will do it faster. It is against our nation's laws to use the military against citizens.

Where are all the riots since Biden was inaugurated?
It's hard to forgive.
Perhaps pray upon it?
Never forget Jan. 6 didn't happen in a bubble, it was immediately after the summer now sarcastically coined "the summer of love" for the billions in damage and so many lives lost while the media lied to everyones faces and called it "mostly peaceful."
No, J6 did not happen in a bubble - in the lead up, Magadonians high and low told lies about it. The actual president of the United States plotted with members of the Supreme Court (and their spouses), US senators and congressmen, Maga lawyers and evil state politicians.

But you are correct, January does follow summer and vice versa.

The media were correct about the protests of the summer were mostly peaceful, although what they showed were the unpeaceful parts because .... news.
People were already wronged by a government who refused to enforce law and angry about it. Enforcing the law includes using the national guard to restore order. None of that should have ever been allowed.
You are aware, are you not, that protests are allowed. Trump was in charge at that time and he did deploy the National Guard against peaceful, permitted protesters - illegally.

We have a different thread dedicated to this: Enemy from Within - Not McCarthy But Trump

This thread is about Donald's lies about Harris banning cows, not his other lies.

The climate change people do want to ban cows.
And the ways to reduce the number or eliminate cows have been seriously discussed by the Biden administration.
That is not a lie. It is a fact

Reduce the number, sure but to say that Harris wants to ban all cows is a false. Do better.

Google cows, methane, climate change.
There are so many pages I could not list them all.
I'm not asking you to list them all. I'm asking you to list one. because I have been able to find anything suggesting "And the ways to reduce the number or eliminate cows have been seriously discussed by the Biden administration."

And I am asking you to do your own research.
It was proposed as part of the climate change bill to reduce "green house gasses."
All the little things add up and have been discussed over the past 4 years
The rules for independent contractors
The rules for cows
The sale of US Steel to Japan
The condition of the roads (Trillions for infrastructure and the road between Phoenix and Las Vegas is a pot hole disaster.)
You may not pay attention but farmers, truck drivers and union workers do pay very close attention.
It is too late for Joy and Abortion to overcome the fact that these groups have been talking about the Biden administration, the economy and immigration for 4 years.
I am interested to see if the surge in early voting is the "abortion" or the "been waiting to vote for Trump and can't wait another day."
I am cynical enough about my fellow citizens to think it is most likely "abortion"
It could be people rushing out to vote Biden and his administration out of office.
We shall see.
