Here is an example.

A guy professes faith in Christianity and decides to be racist and murder many innocent people.

I refuse to believe he had the Holy Spirit living inside him. And I consider it blasphemous to believe that a person who acts like the devil has the Holy Spirit in him.
So is it with some specific sins or is it with every sin? If one person decides to drunk and has sex during the weekend, is the Spirit of God still in there?

People are able to fail to recognize God. I know that God is the best thing ever and superior to all my desires, but I still struggle with them and even I fall to them. Why is it so difficult to think that some people don't want anything to do with God even if they acknowledge him?
Based on my reading of the previous posts on this thread, a recognition of that fact has undeniably been present. Some people do claim Christ, and make a formal statement about accepting him, but it's just that and nothing more. That poses no problems for the idea that God will not lose any who truly believe.

Everybody struggles and falls.

I'm talking about people that chose to be extremely evil and don't ever want to repent.
And you think that person is like that because he was predestined or what? I believe circumstances are what make people the way they are and if they decide to give in or not.

the scriptures speak of obeying the gospel. Turning from sin. Faith without works is dead. etc. The is no divorcing faith from works. You prove your faith by your works. the same way you measure your faith by your faithfulness. you know your have no faith if you are not faithful. Obedience also requires action. there is no such thing as just an intellectual faith.

I don't think you understood what I was trying to communicate.

Regeneration happens when one is born again, and God will continue to sanctify the saved.

The lost are dead in sin and cannot do good.

As for God's decrees I have no clue if we have free will or not.

I trust Jesus to be merciful on me, however, he does not force me to be with him.

No, Jesus does not force us to do anything, and I didn't say that He does.

God can save whoever he wants.

I'm asking again since you didn't answer the first time I asked.

Outside of Christ?

Are you trying to say Christ is unnecessary to salvation?

Obviously they are saved through Christ. If you want to refute that, you can go to my other thread. I won't keep answer here.

So you believe in Universalism (its a heresy) and that knowing Christ is unnecessary to salvation.

Per forum rules:

Unorthodox Christian theology may only be discussed in the Controversial Christian Theology forum...

So I guess any conversation is over outside the controversial forum.. I do hope someone teaches you about salvation someday though..it's way too important not to understand.

God gives us free will. Otherwise you would have to realize he condemns people to hell and no one can change that.

How does an athlete know if he is improving everyday? He sees results, if not then he sees what he does wrong.
Okay. How can you be sure that the improvement is enough?

I feel a lot of times when I tell someone that I don't have assurance of Salvation, they believe "I don't have a relationship with Jesus", but it is the opposite, I know that I have to work out my salvation every day.

What is your opinion?
The gospel is both "already" completed and "not yet" complete in our lives. When Jesus died and rose from the dead, he justified us as not guilty and right with God and resurrected our lives from death to life permanently (Ephesians 1-3). However, that salvation has to become more and more evident in our lives (Ephesians 4-6). You can be assured of Jesus' salvation as fully accomplished as he said on the cross, "It is finished" (Colossians 1-2). But since we aren't yet perfect in our lives, he calls us to "work out our salvation" (make it progressively stronger) by obeying his commands in Jesus' strength, not our own (Colossians 3-4). The same teaching is in Romans 1-11 (the "already") and 12-16 (the "not yet"). I hope that this distinction helps you to have assurance and incentive at the same time.

I don't have assurance of salvation either but at the same time I believe God and his promises. Several times throughout scripture God promises eternal life to those who believe in him so I've got to believe that. I mean God cannot lie and God hasn't failed to keep a promise yet. So somehow it means that I'm saved despite me not having the assurance that I am if that makes any sense anyway. Anyway I get where the OP is coming from.
