Ps 65:4
4 Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.
This speaks to individual election unto Salvation !
Blessed are those you choose and bring near to live in your
courts! We are filled with the good things of your house, ofyour holy temple.
Psalm 65:4 NIV
What are we to make of this? This is a Psalm of David. It talks about the “good things” of the “holy temple.” The Temple wasn’t built while David was alive but the King’s palace was adjacent to the land where the Temple was to be built. David is thanking God for choosing him to be the King of Israel, and says that the best part of being King is living near the holy ground designated for the Temple.
