nightmare problems

hi,
not sure where is should post this. i am having terrible nightmare problems just about every night. my wife said i should contact somebody for prayer but i dont know anybody as the churches that i know around us and goto dont seem to operate in signs and wonders and nor in healing etc, They are Christian / charasmatic etc.

Can anybody help me with my problem

Is it the same dream all the time? Do they bear any resemblance to anything that's happening to you right now, like a fear or worry? I think dreams can be many things. Sometimes it's our subconscious that causes them, sometimes it's something else.

I will pray for you.

I am just guessing but it may be to strenghten you for some event in your future, try to figure out a nice ending and some night try to remember it dreaming the nightmare and it will go away, it is just you building your confidence I guess.

Actually people right some great book/movies/scrupts from nightmares....write them down, you never know!

Hi, I used to suffer with nightmares terribly. They are awful and often leave us distressed until it's gone from our minds.

I read a book way back then when I was suffering with them,and the book said, that I had the ability to stop the dream and laugh at the nightmare.

It worked.

Hmm are these nightmares similar? Well i dunno what to tell you but i heard somewhere that what you eat at night could stimulate dreams/nightmares. I will pray for you and hopefully these nightmares will go away.

I'd try another church. If the prayers offered at church are not helping...

I had this same trouble a few years ago. Sometimes it is just a thing or two in your life that your sub-conscious is having a hard time dealing with. This seemed to be my problem, and also I changed churches - changed denominations, I mean. Sometimes it is a sign that you should change your denomination when prayer no longer works at where you are. It is something to consider. I'll pray for you too.

Some amazing things can happen when you change something like that. If not, then you can always go back.
