Hello, and welcome to CF! I pray you are blessed to be here.

I can't really answer your question, but I am working on learning Byzantine chant tones and notation, and singing in the choir in a language other than my own (Greek) which can be quite beautiful but requires my brain to go through a level of translation until the words become established with their meaning. That's my "Christian music career" for now.

I hope you meet like-minded folks who you can discuss your concerns with. Hopefully you will as you branch out into other forums, since this is just an intro area. Again, welcome to CF, and we are glad you joined us!
