Hi. Im a newbie here n jus wanted to say hi n ask for some prayers n encouragement. I have bipolar but am mainly struggling w deep depression. Im on mood stabilizees but we jus cant seem to find the right combo that helps. Been depr for several months, im a single parent n strugglin financially bc I habe been unable to work bc of the depr. I started a job n im suffering from extreme anxiety n its jus so tough to get out around people. I could reallt use ur prayers scriotures n advice. Thanks so much, heather

The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

If you are born again in Christ, then the Holy Spirit of God lives in you. He strengthens and empowers you to overcome any trial that comes your way. Also, every believer has the same power available to them that resurrected our Lord. That resurrection power. I don't have specific Scripture available, but know this is Scripture;

I know just how you feel I was a single mother when my kids were growing up and I am bipolar. It takes about a year or two to get on the right meds hang in there and don't give up! I struggled with no help from the dad. I know the struggle of having to go around people to and it can be very tough. Don't give up you CAN do this!!

...i am a born again believer,my faith has just kinda faltered the last couple years.i think i just keep agonizing y god allowes me to continue to go thru these deep depr.I kno His word says he doesnt give us more than we can bear but i feel like the depr is unbearable it steals my life n so far ve been unable to fimd meds that work.
But on the positive side, thankfully, my daughters father is a good daddy n helps alot so that is a big blessing. Thanks again for listening n lettin my vent.have blessed day
