John B everything is going to be alright. I pray that everything works out for you. I know the Lord is proud that despite it all, through storms and heartache, you are continuing to walk toward Him and not let these thoughts cause you to turn away from Him.

Annrobert we are in His hands and can't be plucked!

James AH the Holy Spirit is truly amazing. Today, it made me invite someone to church that I really wasn't on good standing with, the more it's outside of me, the more I know it's the Lord within me.

Newfielove is right :: We need to praise God through our circumstance. Because it could have been worse than this and we could have been somewhere else due to these thoughts, but we are being kept and held in this storm and the Lord is truly good.

im scarred last night i had bad thoughts and i was doubting and unbelieveing, and i was scared that i was rejecting him and scared that i was going to be like this world, and the people in it, finally somehow God calmed me down and i got sleep, and then i woke up cause of a werid dream and something i did not want to see in a dream, and that set off my aneixty and worry today, i need a lot of prayer, and i dont know if this is ocd or a tough time but i just do not like the nights anymore

I always don't like to say I understand at the beg of everything post, but I do. You are not alone. There were nights where I woke up out the midst of sleep and the thoughts bombarded me and the Lord calmed me down and put me back to sleep. When that happens, just pray and try to remember something that the Lord said. He said you can't be plucked and He will not leave you comfortless so you know that you are safe. I'm praying and I hope you have better nights. Reading your post just know, I had to thank God because I noticed how after many nights of interrupted sleep, I can get through a night of peace. And He will do the same for you. Just pray and although the storm is raging, find peace in that our Lord how power to rebuke the winds. =]
