Except that, as proven, they do predict excess gamma rays. And a totally different neutrino spectrum. It is your inability to understand that that shows why you hang out with the Velikovskians. And why you think CNO fusion is happening at the surface. And that the Sun is an iron ball. That is why you are an irrelevance. Spouting pure woo on irrelevant websites has no impact whatsoever. In case you haven't noticed. Science isn't debated on the internet. It is essentially debated in the scientific literature. The EU presence there is as close to zero as makes no difference. Regarding gamma ray absorption from Scott's impossible nuclear fusion in the chromosphere; I said it would not be absorbed by the corona. Michael said:

No, it won't. He should read his own laughably bad 'paper'. In Fig. 2, he tells us that 0.511 MeV gammas are detected at the footprints of loops:

Where does he think these footprints are? Why don't you tell us, Michael? Somewhere in the corona, are they? Please explain. Also, while you're at it, explain how lower energy visible light photons are getting from the surface to our detectors (eyes), and yet high energy gamma rays from the chromosphere aren't flooding us with lethal radiation?
If you finally realise that Scott is clueless, and prefer to talk about Thornhill's woo, then please, as requested previously, point us to where he describes this 'model'.
