New Major Feature: CF User Customizer!

Hmm... I was looking forward to a reply and notice the posts from 9:12 a.m. to 4:33 p.m. yesterday are missing. I'm sorry if I could have seen what happened; I don't have time to look for long while at work. I will re-state my question:

What is the purpose of these changes? How do these changes support the mission of CF?

The purpose of the changes are to add more interactivity to the site, and to give members more uses for blessing points.

The overall vision of CF is to unite Christians of every denomination on the internet. It is hoped that these features will increase the community atmosphere of the site, and encourage people to post and participate more.

I also don't understand the point of limiting the quantities in the shop. CF has over 75000 registered users, and all of those lost their username effects. According to the quantities in the shop only 98 every two weeks are allowed to change their username font. Even assuming there are only 1000 members who regularly come to the forum, it will take 20 weeks before all those users will be able to have their old username font back.

No, this will only affect newer members - like I said, all the older membes have their settings back already.

So what's the deal now? Our names on the posts will go back to how they were before the CF Shop? Or do we have to go set them again? I forgot how I had it

Well i guess we just got our username effects back. But, i also don't understand the point of having quantities of those. It's bad enough we have to pay for them.

The limited quantities just makes the changes a bit more valuable. Like I said, existing members will not be affected, as their font settings have been imported over.

I see all messages with the same font now, yours, mine, everyone. Is that on my end? I didn't change anything.

How did my font in my posts get so tiny all of a sudden? is that something i still fix in the usercp or in the shop? i dont mind fixing it myself, but i realize its a bit hard on the eyes

ok new suggestion- when people are changing a font or color or something it has a blank for us to fill in, but i dont know the options that CF has or not. is there a way to have a pull down list or something?

my posts are all small ....hey now whats with the fotn size? ..I can barely read them...I'm in size 6 now AHHHH!

Also I realize my name is a pretty light gray so it doesn't really show up when not in the posts. I am trying to change it to a darker gray or possibly black, but everytime i hit preview it shows the name in the color i have selected for my glow. now, I am using safari but I have tried it on IE. perhaps those effects dont work on macs? anyway, i dont see anyone's glow on my computer, but thats not the problem. I can't figure out how to get it to show me the slate gray or black when i hit preview for my user name color change- it makes it a sort of blue/green. how do i fix this?

the size setting isnt an option in the profile change area anymore, and i cant find it in the shop. i think its missing with all the changes that have been made, but dont worry, i am sure erwin will fix it when he comes back

Ach! Many of these fonts can't be read at small sizes! Especially on my stupid monitor! I need a microscope to read my own posts!

Oh... and is there a list of fonts that can be used?

Edit: Arial's such a boring font, but at least I can read it on any computer, and it doesn't shrink microscopically.
