New Major Feature: CF User Customizer!

^ Actually the way its set up, in order to get LOTS of blessings (Which one needs to afford the gold & diamons & such) you DO have to donate real money to CF. That wouldn't be a problem, but some people just can't as I posted earlier.

But gold and diamonds aren't exactly necessary... They're luxuries. I know I won't be able to afford them, but that doesn't bother me. After all, they're just pixels.

I cannot remember how I had my user name colored. A light brown surrounded by a dark brown glow. Would take a while, plus extra blessings, to get it back where it was.

It's a whole of changes all at once, so I understand that some members find it complicated.

Just because your username has no color does not mean that people should start "hating" CF. That's a bit harsh. This site is a forums site, not a site for colored usernames.

On the contrary, I am listening - despite being at work, I am checking CF and making changes that I can make from work. I've already modified the CF Custom Shop to remove unwanted features and lower the costs of the items.

In fact, I did all these new features because some members requested them a while back, and I've just been putting them off until now. I do listen. I can't listen to everyone as everyone has different views, but just because I don't do what you tell me to, does not mean I did not listen or consider the suggestions.

Yes, thank you Erwin for all your hard work! Even though there are things I do dislike about the updates, I think this is still a cool website and in reality it's my only way to have Christian fellowship as I have no friends!

Sorry Erwin, I have had a really bad day today, sorry for that. I was going to post the rest of opinion on post #45 but for some reason it posted and then I was really mad, orgive me. I still think there needs to be changes but I guess I can live with this, as long I can get to the rpg, thats all I need.

I just don't like how it can so be difficult to enjoy cf completely without a lot of blessings. Blessings can be hard to come by, even with regular posting.

Aww, Erwin, can't you please everybody? Since there are varying views on the CFShop, perhaps we could have a poll about it?

Another way to do this is, since you've already lowered prices for things, perhaps make those jobs actually useful. Right now, I am due about 34 years in back pay according to the system. But once that is working, if the salaries were considerably higher, then that would be nice. I'm thinking about a tenth of a person's post count per week would be about right. 10 blessings per week for the 100 post level, for example. Just another idea to consider.... Thoughts?

I don't want a fancy user name, but is there any way that I can make my user name appear small again? When I see my name so large, I feel like I am shouting my own name.

Good idea TSIBHOD! With the higher amount of pay for the "jobs," then people will want to post more so they can ger higher ranking "jobs" and so they can get more blessings to gain the armor of God!

Erwin, I think this is the best idea for improvement for the current system!

I haven't started "hating" CF. I like it still and appreciate your hard work. In fact, I just donated (still waiting for the Site Supporter status ). The changes are just coming hard and fast, catching me completely off guard.

OK, what's up with this? Is it a bug or just my computer acting up somehow? I'm trying to change my user name so it appears the way it did before, and it used to be dark blue font with a light blue glow. I tried to put the glow back, and in the preview it showed up red. I went back and didn't get it, just in case it would really appear red. Why did that happen?

You have to go to CFShop and spend blessings to get it changed, Shine.

Sorry I was snippy about the whole thing earlier. It was just one more disappointment in the middle of a really bad day. Will you bring back glow strength and choosing your name's size?

And how do I stop it from showing my name in cyan in the "currently active users" box? I want it to be cyan in my posts, but not in the box--in the box, it doesn't have a glow around it to make it legible.

yknow, i think blessings are meant to be given. so why don't those of us who CAN donate to get blessings then give them to those who are less "fortunate" in the blessings department? that's what the "real world" is like anyhow, and we are supposed to help the less fortunate.

i went through 20,000 blessings in four months. i'm hoping to beat that record!

wow, i'm glad you have the money you can donate like that. i donated a while back when i ended up having extra money at the end of the month, but thats a RARITY. working for a nonprofit means i have no income really. but power to you for donating your money to cf and your blessings to other people!
