By the time Urban II made that call, Muslims had gone far beyond Jerusalem to invade deeply into what had been Christian Europe and Asia (as "Asia" was considered at that time) and had become a significant existential threat. Remember that Jerusalem had been Christian as well, so that wasn't an invasion of Muslim territory, that was the re-taking of Christian territory.

Except for the parts in Africa some parts which like Egypt are often referred to as the "Middle East", all of the "Middle East" *is* in Asia. Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Arabia, Palestine are all in Asia. (Sometimes also called "SW Asia".)

I'm talking about *Muslim Jihadists*... What are you talking about? Do you think God wants Muslim Jihadists to rape his Holy Church on earth?

It makes no sense that you think Christians should have allowed this, and do nothing to stop it. What about justice, law and order?
