Hi,

I'm new here, and I've just been busy reading all your posts. I've been posting at several different depression boards, but none of them ever reply to me. I am severely depressed due to some really bad life circumstances. I believe in God, but I think He hates me. As time goes by, maybe I'll tell you what's going on, but not right now as I don't trust these boards. The other ones I've been to, well, if you're not a member of their "cliques", they won't bother with you. I don't think that this one will be that way, as you are all Christian people. Just pray for me now if you will.

Hey Mel, Prayers sent. All I know is God loves us all. Even in hard times He has not gone anywhere. Sometimes He allows us to go through hard times to produce character in us and to make us more reliant in Him. In the past I was one to give up on God when things got hard. I gave up hope and turned to alcohol. Now I have learnt to lean on God in the harder times and ask for prayer. I read this somewhere, "Nothing you can do will make God love you more, nothing you can do will make God love you less."

God does not hate you, even if your life is a mess or whatever is going on.

The people on this board do not seem cliquey at all, they are faithful prayers, I found this out recently. God bless you sister in Christ, and I pray you find some happiness soon.

It is like none other. I think you will find much support here. Lots of Christian that struggle every day just like you and I struggle.

Hi Melanie-sounds like I could have wrote your post! I too have been suffering with depression since I was a teenager due to circumstances. That's 30 years of this battle!
